If only it was that easy to approach Deadmau5 to take pictures. Last year I went to a Kaskade concert in Toronto and Joel was in the VIP section, my friends and I tried to show some love but only stared at us with a "fuck off" face. The show is over, people are still partying with the closing djs, we head to the exit and Joel is there, no security just him and this group of like 6 people that came with him. He's talking and we tried to approach in a very polite way, one of the girls that was with him turns around and sees us and says: he's not gonna take a picture with you, just leave. We were pissed didn't want to be loud or something but we just said thank you and left. Honestly, big fan of Joel but that day was very disappointing

I am just using common sense here. I say Joel is a celebrity and is getting photographed all the time. This was entirely a rude "I don't care about you" scenario.

Tells a story about meeting a celebrity and still manages to make it about himself. The story wasn't bizarre, it wasn't funny. He just wanted to let everyone know Michael Emerson recognized him, which obviously didn't even happen because who the hell knows what Joel even looks like underneath his Mickey Mouse mask.

so the story is obviously fake. 1) he says its from SAW he knows him, but they talk about lost. 2) he says he sits down next to him, "20 mins" before landing - how? 3) and someone randomly KNOWS deadmau5 by face? lmao give me a break. even his die hard fans just want the stupid costume head on... of all the creepers and weirdos in hollywood he hangs with, a guy sitting next tohim on a plane from Lost who is apparently in character but he knows im from Saw 1 movie and he only saw a few lost episodes......? i dont think so. i have better crackhead stories from downtown. what a letdown of 5 mins here.
