@@localhotti3 It really is appreciated! It feels like a lot of non black reviewers avoid black media because they don't fully understand the nuances, but James and Chelsea really try because they're compassionate and they give this underrated work its dues. Second of all, if you actually read and comprehended what I said, you would know that I am actually giving him appreciation for NOT ignoring or overlooking our contributions to the genre as so many other movie reviewers and bloggers tend to do! Most if not all of these movies are cult classics within the Black community and we know them well, and now I'm happy that other audiences are finally getting to experience them and come to love them the way we do because of James' reviews!

I've been a caregiver for over ten years. My last client would have me clean up their place too. I would listen to Kill Counts because, besides being funny and entertaining, with your commentary perfectly descibes what's happening. I'd gravitate to franchises like A Nightmare on Elm Street or Friday the 13th. But this was the last Kill Count that I listened to before my client passed away. So it holds a special place to me. Thank you!

Tiny little bit of trivia/distinction: It's a crucifix if Jesus is hanging on it, and just a cross if it isn't. The distinction is primarily between Catholic and Protestant faiths, and the minister and family here are clearly protestant.
