Hi James! The Clownzilla scene had to be shot at double the framerate so that the footage could be slowed down to match the rest of the movie, the effect is that everything would move realistically as if it was actually a giant monster, it's a trick used in the original Godzilla to convey the size weight and scale

though, to be fair, a creature moving to be that large would realistically have evolved muscle to also move the large body fast, or it would have been super-dead from everything small and fast just running up and killing it. movies just make the creatures move slower so it'll look more cool, i'm pretty sure

And not just the monster. The extra frames also allow you to manipulate gravity in a way that adds a sense of weight to objects like the ice cream truck prop that Jojo hurls. At a normal framerate it's obvious that it's a cardboard prop thrown at human scale (24:25) but slowed down correctly you make it look like they somehow chucked a real truck around (24:20).

So happy with the recount! Im not someone who actively watches horror, or researches them,. Im a whuss when it comes to watching horror. But i do enjoy it, and this is a great way to consume the media without being scared shitless. Alot of the earlier killcounts are just basically just plot summaries with some extra flair. Sure yes they're fun, but the "modern" style of killcounts are way more enjoyable. Keep it up dude!

24:37 can be explain by the same technique being used in Godzilla and other kaiju movies. The idea is that if you shoot at sixty frames per second, you can slow slow the footage down and make ppl in suits into lumbering giants. It wouldn't work the same if you shot it in normal speeds because of how film works.

I've always been scared of clowns. But Pennywise was the reason. These guys are just the campy ones that made me realize that they can be funny even if I'll never end up in a cotton candy cocoon.

I love this film for how self aware they are with the clowns concept, and use every possible clown related thing. This is a film that I’ve shown my brother who doesn’t watch any horror because it’s so good

Pumped about this one getting a recount, not only cause killer klowns is fantastic but also because we get to see a lot more behind the scenes content which I always love. Also huge shout out to Chelsea for getting to do voice work in the new killer klowns game!

You really did a great job on this re-count. I honestly didn't think the first one (one of my favorite Kill Counts) could get any better, but with the additional footage and information, this one definitely tops the original. Also, still has the zany Janisse humor (Jojo don't take too kindly to identity theft 😂)

Getting to callbacks to several classic KCs from over the years since the original Killer Klowns count was great, too. Particularly loved hearing references to Tales From the Hood, Ice Cream Man, and The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals. Plus the whole "No." aside was just classic.

It's difficult too make a movie hilarious and disturbing but they nailed it. The clown designs are creepy yet goofy. The kills are gruesome yet cartoonist and the puppet scene actually gave me goosebumps. This movie is really a 1 of a kind
