I disagree. I initially liked the fact that all of Laurie's over bearing and training had lasting impact on Karen and made her shut down in the final show down. Like a message to Laurie that what she did to her kid was actually wrong and didn't even work.

@@Tw0Dots YES! Finally someone else says it! I think Michael gets most of his strength and durability literally from being crazy/mentally ill. There are actual real cases of this too, there was this mentally ill women who needed atleast three male caretakers to hold her down every time she needed to take her medicine. The thing is she was basically like 110 pounds yet somehow she kept overpowering her caretakers. Now imagine what a 6'2 210+ pounds Michael Myers can do.

I always saw it as Karen disassociating the memories with as little emotion as possible because of how painful both the trauma and her childhood were for her. It’s common with PTSD and bipolar depression, and I’ve done it multiple times going from emotional to completely flat and almost like I’m talking from a script

I absolutely loved all the lowkey kills happening in the background and him just walking among people, casually killing everyone without anyone noticing. That is, in my opinion, what Myers was always best at.

So I think the thing with Micheal is in Kills he is more defensive. In this movie Micheal is going and activly killing people, while in Kills he just wants to go to his old house and look out the window. Love the content, looking forward to the Kills kill count!

there's definitely quite a few awesome shots in this movie. one of my favs is the shot of the camera panning up at Michael when he's in Laurie's house in the dark with the hand missing some fingers and the music that kicks in. gives me chills everytime
