Actually, ‘Twister’ did have two tornadoes. When they were on the road running through the middle of the water, one twister split into two. They called them “sisters” instead of “twins”.

As someone who is from Oklahoma (where the original Twister is set), there are still tornado chasers (most actually work for the news) and we are still learning from them. While I agree that we know more now than we did when the original came out, I think we still have plenty to learn. Oklahoma is proud of the original movie and this one was also filmed (at least some) in Oklahoma so we will definitely be turning out for this one as well!

Don't know if someone already commented this, but I believe the main plot of Twisters will be them trying to "destroy"/stop tornadoes, not research them. So not quite the same movie. I'm really fascinated to see what they do with it.

Twisters look way too rad for its own good and I’m HERE for it. They remembered to give the tornadoes the same growling noise from the first movie!

I guffawed so loud when “Defying Mavity” was mentioned that people instantly looked at me. This awkward SlopGoblin had to make a hasty exit. I know most of us were here for the Deadpool and Wolverine Reaction, but being a former theater kid when “Wicked” was big, I was interested in Jay’s reaction to that trailer. I cannot wait for that movie.

To be fair, spotters are still necessary for pinpoint location and direction of active tornados. There can be radar indicated tornatic activity, but it doesn't guarantee actual touchdown. Usually trained weather spotters and fire department personnel are the ones out looking, but they don't chase. 24:54

Even now. We still can't predict tornadoes. The tornado that hit my town Perryton, Tx landed right on top of us. No warning. Sirens most of the time go off when there is a tornado is sighted on the ground. They can only warn you of a possibility of a tornado.

In defense of Twisters, tornados normally DO have a second little downspout thing. Sometimes it’s massive, usually it’s much less notable. But because of the way they work, there’s…I’m butchering this, but it’s an “equal and opposite” spin reactionary thing, and storm chasers have to look out for that because they get stupidly close, and it can just drop down on them while they’re watching the main event.

I appreciate the symmetry of having Twisters & Wicked in the trailerpalooza, they could stack these movies like Barbenheimer, and the audience could experience what Dorothy felt from getting hoisted by a twister and dropped down into Oz. I am on the side of “So what if it’s the same story? I wanna ride the high again!!” I am EXCITED for Twisters, especially since they’re exploring the storm chasing culture the first film created! Also, chasing is very much a thing we still need because the EF scale only relies on debris, and most twisters that are as powerful as Joplin are in the plains rather than the cities. Yes, the first Twister made me a novice extreme storm enthusiast.

I loved every single one of your reactions to these, but your reaction to Deadpool was definitely worth the wait.🤣👏I am so hyped to see this movie! I had not been expecting all the Loki connections. Other people have pointed out that the main fight area could be the Void from Loki where the big Alioth monster was (that may be what swoops down and grabs one of the guys here!). Remember the Void was full of all sorts of wrecked stuff from throughout the MCU and other dimensions? If you look closely at the scene with the big satellite dish-looking thing, you can see a downed Chitauri Leviathan and part of a Helicarrier in the background. That’s also probably where the broken Fox logo is too.

2 things about the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes trailer. 1. This movie is supposed to be about 300 years after the end of War for the Planet of the Apes, but the human girl they are hunting/protecting is supposed to be Nova, who was introduced in War, so she's more than 300 years old. 2. Caeser dies at the end of War so he's not going to be in Kingdom at all, unless there is flashbacks.
