Having haters means you're doin it right

It never ceases to amaze me how many dota players act like they're above pro players, when in reality they don't even have half the MMR and probably a 10th of the total playtime of these pros.

The internet is an odd place. There are alot of things it gives us, but also alot of difficult things. Sometimes its people with different opinions that flame you for it. In terms of famous stars (doesn`t matter what sport or e-sport) it can be fanboys of someone else/another team who think insulting another player or team somehow is ok. Or some of them are just people who use the anonymity, either to feel better or because they think its funny. So many possibilities. One thing is for sure: if you walk in the internet, you need to be mentally strong, you need to know how to deal with this. If you can`t, you are in big trouble, because they will break you if they find out that it does effect you. I personally would not want someone to police it, we would open a whole lot of other issues with that - who is the "right" person to do it? They would need to be 100% objective and that just doesn`t exist. Well how to deal with those flaming/insulting persons? I think there are some possibilities. If you are really strong mentally you can look into it, try to see if there is any objective critisism that is actually valid to improve yourself. That is really hard to do. The easier (but not easy) think I think is accept that there are sad little people out there who do this, and just ignore it. Maybe even block them, and move on, try to forget it. Go on with your life the best way you think is possible.
