As a revert of 5 years struggling everyday with isolation and lack of community warmth and understanding of this need. I cannot stress how much it is for someone to recognise this & give me much comfort. Brought me to tears

I live in a area of SD that I’m not aware of another Muslim! In sha Allah(swt) I’ll move to a Muslim community soon!

Alamdulillah, yes, I am a new revert, but have been a believer of the Book for 3 years. As divorced single mother of relatively young children I feel very lonely sometimes. I love being alone with the Word, but isolation is hard. May Allah SWT make my way easy, and Mashallah, may The Most High bless me with a true halal marriage some day.

I, myself.... im I guy who is isolated and I kinda love the feeling because at times it brings me closer to allah. It also makes me self-disciplined. I would definitely recommend trying to be alone, as it made me score high in school, and lose weight. From a overweighted 92 kg to a (around 70 kg) 4 ab fit body. Definitely recommend it.....face you fears.

I used think like this but 11 years u get bored of it . Keep struggle. Every 1 moves on in life. U give thing up n nothing good ever happen

We cannot be lone wolves. Yes, we should set time aside to be alone with Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى, but not as a lifestyle This is dangerous for the Ummah as the lone wolf is attacked Nauthu Billah

There are times when you feel alone and alienated and shunned when you don't really understand why - and it doesn't have to be about a belief or cause or anything as broad as this. Also, I think Nelson Mandela did have people to communicate with on Robben Island. Firslty he built up a bond with his jailor. Secondly, there was communication going on with other inmates. Sometimes when you are not fighting for a cause or belief system, but you just feel alone and alienated - these times are I think even more difficult, because you have no idea what is up or down, left or right anymore.

I wish I knew I was isolated because I was fighting for a belief because then I could at least make sense of the situation. I wonder instead if this isolation is my fault and if it isn't, idk how to cope with it.

Ali's father was a leading member of the Banu Hashim clan, who also raised his nephew Muhammad after his parents died. When Abu Talib fell into poverty later, Ali was taken in at the age of five and raised by Muhammad and his wife Khadija.
