Parental alienation is real. It's a calculated and intentional tactic used by narcissistic toxic people to manipulate you. Here's a 2019 interview I did with coach Nikki Bruno. We dive into steps you can take when you realize you are being purposefully and strategically alienated from your kids by your Hijackal (ex)partner.
My guest, Coach Nikki Bruno, had that experience, and she fought back...successfully! I asked her about her experiences leading to her development of her 10-Step Plan to counter parental alienation, and she shared her story. You'll want to hear it!
Staying calm and carrying on after going through a difficult, toxic relationship followed usually by a difficult, toxic, drawn-out court battle is difficult! Many of my clients tell me that they were so exhausted during this all that they didn't know if they could get through it all. They did!

A true narc husband will continue this well after the children are adults. Divorced or not. They are pure evil.

This is a very good podcast. My ex husband and I both decided to get a divorce. Then he decided to turn our two.sons, ages 6 and 11 against me by buying a lot of gifts for them and telling them that he made more money and I would not be able to afford gifts. He told them that they would be poor and not get enough to eat..So they decided that they didnt want to go with me. After I left he said he did that because he thought that I would not leave without them. Then he proceeded to play the victim and act like he didnt want a divorce by telling the boys that I left him and them, even though it was their choice to stay. My sons were.so confused, even now at 47 and 42, they refuse to hear the truth and have long periods of not talking to me. I look back at the times that he sabotaged my parenting during our marriage, invalidated my authority, underminded my discipline and brainwashed them into believing that he was the better parent. I went into the Army and made a life for myself..I didnt know how to fight a narcissist, I just needed to leave and live...it was mentally exhausting...

There are no words for the pain children suffer it has been 20 years since I was alienated from my princess she was 5 years old my xnarc acted like she didn’t know what she was doing and blamed my daughter for her actions… now at 25 she doesn’t acknowledge me but will acknowledge my flying monkey family🇬🇧

21:00 - For me, when things improved it was because someone was giving the narc attention. So I was thankful for those random periods of time when she was able to fool other people. Also, Wow! I love the children’s book thing. That’s powerful.

I lost my oldest son 8 years ago after my malignant narcissist ex husband alienated him. He went as far as to tell my kids that I didn’t love them, which was devastating to my kids. I pray my oldest comes back one day so we can be reunited. Strangely, he abandoned our youngest (age 14) and hasn’t acknowledged him in 3+ years, which is equally difficult for my son.

Unfortunately, you may have to alienate the children from the abusive parent bc they never stop trying to alientate you from your children.

I adore what I see of the 50s and 60s. Nowadays you never know if even a question contains toxic content. This is polluting the world and the youth acquire de toxicity and don’t understand why certain subjects are tabu. Dear, nobody knows the specific answers for a couple. Each couple is like s different person.
