If you live in the rust belt, these can be a pain if the stud is not prepared properly. A shot of WD-40 and wire brush can save a lot of headache if used preemptively. If using my double wrench method, be sure that the pressure you apply is square to the nut or you could slip off and damage the nut/your knuckles. The longer you struggle with these nuts (more likely the lower one that's closer to the salt spray), the more likely you'll end up using an angle grinder to cut them off. Take your time, clean up the area, and use the right sized sockets/wrenches.
