Dealing with Summertime Sadness

i cant believe this found me at the right time. lately ive been trying to get employed to fill my summer, internships, and part-time jobs but unfortunately those didnt work out for me due to the location being too far away and it being not exactly what i had hoped for to be doing over the summer. ive went around leaving my name and phone number to places close to my home looking to get employed. not that ive performed badly, but it seems like none of them want to hire a student. havent gotten any phone calls back and i just feel like im doing nothing with my life. my friends are all busy, they've either are on vacation, traveling, landed internships or part-times, or are summer courses. i never get to go on vacation every summer because im just not from a family that can afford that. im only 17, going to be 18 soon and i feel this immense pressure. i already feel like a failure even though i have grown so much as a person and had a whole glow up journey. ik everyone grows at their own pace. in and out of relationships that i have been: losing friends, going through a breakup, ending friends with people who ik are no good for me. but sometimes i just feel like i cant live up to my own expectations.

Happy it found you at the right time. I've been in the same situation before, really sucks. At that time you're kinda forced to just trust God's timing for you and try to believe that you're in this space now for a reason. You've done what you could, you're not a failure and you have so much more to see don't worry about it. What sometimes feel like a setback can actually be a huge set up! Life is a long race and it's with yourself in the end. Really hope the video helped 🩷

This is my first summer where we entered July n im getting sad and feeling alone even though i have friends to talk to.. also people around me are busy and enjoying themselves while im just existing lol I learned to stop comparing myself and get to know myself more and do things that are in my control im still me and im taking it as break for my next final year at uni :)
