Hi guys, I was going to wait with this song, but i ran out of space for more episodes. I'll use future ones in requested songs.
I'm sorry if the audio is a bit wonky, I have driven myself crazy with it, I believe there's a couple that may be louder than meant to be mostly where Sam is speaking this might be because Jared breathes heavily while talking which makes me hard to clean and so becomes a harder to hear, but also the there's a female voice, I lowered her voice and then She couldn't be understood, I would advise a lower volume first and then increase etc.

I think this is the most perfect video i've seen about Castiel death, talking in the way Dean associates his personality in other people, but Jack is the personification of Cas inner child. All the parallels, the connections in all the words, so poetic. I had to stop a couple of times because is so beautiful, and sad at the same time, Dean would never be complete without his angel. Jack and Dean wish Cas were alive but in different meanings, and both need him. Beautiful video, I mean it.

I honestly cried so hard during the premiere I was watching it with my friends and only one of them watched spn so me and her were sitting on the lounge hugging eachother and balling the entire time from the prayer scene while our 3 other friends were sitting on the floor laughing and filming us and we torn between crying and flipping the other bitches off (also I AM NOT OK WITH HOW MUCH JACK RESEMBLES CAS AND I THINK DEAN THINKS THE SAME AND THATS NOT OK EITHER AND THE ONLY WAY HES DEALING WITH LOSING CA SIS BY SHUTTING EVERYONE OUT AND JUST BEING ANGRY BECAUSE HE DOESNT KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ANY OTHER WAY 😭😭😭)

So yeah, that hurt. I mean, I KNEW of those parallels - caught most of them myself - but having them play out before my eyes still hit me way harder than I expected. This is absolutely beautifully done. An absolute tearjerker.

During 1-2, my constant thought was.. "yup.. that's Dean.. being a dick.. again..." After watching this I see him more like a new father, who'd lost his wife giving birth and now he has to take care of this child, which he has no idea how to... He's sad, he's angry and also confused.. He's giving up in a way.. Very nice editing..

yeah so far he's repeating john's mistakes but even worse. but this season is all about breaking away from the sins of the father (jack and lucifer), so maybe just as we saw dean come to terms with his mother last season, this season we'll see him finally throw off the shackles john left him in.

WibblyWobblyEtc I think It's like he's not letting himself to get attached to the kid. He already lost almost everyone he loves and cares about, except Sam, and even he's been to hell and back, literally, so, he knows in his heart he will loose this one too.. And he knows he has to be the one to kill this one.. Sam obviously can't.. He's already gotten attached to the kid.. To see Jack follow his moves, just like Ben and Cass did, to see the pure innocence in him, just like Lisa, Ben and Cass had been.. I think it's harder for Dean, more then ever it had been for John.. Because in his heart, he knows that he failed all of them.. He's becoming John, because it's easy that way..

sure, I agree, but none of that excuses how cruel he's being just as nothing excused john's treatment of the boys. I would like to see dean sincerely apologise and make it up to jack, not for being cautious about trusting him - he is a powerful being, after all - but for how callous and cold he's being towards what is essentially a vulnerable kid. we can all understand some of where dean's behaviour is coming from but in the end, just as you initially said: he's being a dick again. because deep down, he's still letting john's influence guide his actions and choices. he's still never confronted that about himself.

This is perfection!! It's absolutely beautiful and emotional and I loved it. I cant wait for Cas to come back; can't wait for Dean, Cas, and Sam to be reunited and for Cas and Jack to meet and bond. I can't wait for the Dean/Cas hug most of all!!
