I just want to let you know that I have read all your comments and I am suprised by how many people recognize themselves in Dean. I do, sometimes, also recognize myself in him. It's good to know there are more. But I also feel sad there are so many people who are hurting, who are going through rough times. I just want to let you guys know I understand how hard life can be, whether it's something that is happening to you or just your own mind, I understand how hard it is. And it makes me feel good that so many of you, including me, can find comfort in this amazing character, in this amazing tv show. I just wanna let everyone who is struggling know that you are so brave. You are so brave for being here and for not giving up. I know it's hard and life gets you down so many times. But know that there are good times coming. Maybe it doesn't feel like it right now, but a new day will come and you will get up and you will find yourself in a better place than the one you are in right now.

I think we can all agree that Jensen is a phenomenal actor.

Okay but why does Jensen not have an award for these acting skills?

I feel like Dean is the most tragic character from any tv show I have ever seen in that he only gets flashing moments or small glimpses of happiness. He doesn't care about himself and constantly puts others first only to be abandoned by those he loves. Over the years of being put down and having it be obvious he wasn't as important to his dad as Sam was, he truly sees himself as unworthy and truly has come to hate himself. Most beautifully heartbreaking characters I have ever seen.

I am graduating Uni in December and I want you to know that it gets better, it might not happen in a day and night, but it will get better. Some days will be very hard and you would want to give up, and when that happen, remember how far you've come. As supernatural comes to an end in a couple of months, I am very grateful that I was raised watching this amazing show. It's a big part of my life, I met amazing people through our mutual love for the show, cast and crew. I think we will all miss supernatural

This is so beautiful. This tells a lot about Dean. He's a man who was going through so much. And he still cares about Sammy. I've spent so many tears on him, like Meagan Power. They wanted to smite him, kill him, break him.. But he's still standing. He's still alive. I fucking love Supernatural. So much emotions. So much love. You did a great job!

Dean is me. We hate ourself and think so little about ourselves. We feel so damn helpless when we fail to save the ones we love. We fight and fight and fight, because that’s the only thing that sort of relieves the pain and anger. He fights demons and other creatures, I fight in the military. We drink constantly and bottle up our emotions. Because that’s how we cope. We run from it all till we can’t run, then we blow up in a rage. Then we do it all again

Dean Winchester is the best person I know. He cares, thinks other people than himself. He loves his brother more than anything .He protects his brother more than he could protect himself. He thinks Sammy more than he could think himself. He thinks Sammy's life first . He never had a chance to be a normal person. But he tried to make it for his brother.He could be a jerk but it doesn't change the fact that he is a good man.

I find it terrifying how much of myself I see in Dean. Yeah, I don’t go around the country killing monsters, and both of my parents are alive and well, and I haven’t died yet, but I see so much of myself in him emotion wise. We’re both unavailable, we’re both miserable, we’re both confused, we both have to put a strong confident face for the ones we love, we both have a hell going on 24/7 in our heads, we both have anger problems, and we both need to ask for help.

God. He is so amazing, he has literally saved the world. He has made mistakes. But he deserves so much more. Why is this show so depressing?

An important thing to catch is whenever Dean talks about anything positive happening to those that he loves he never mentions himself. Ever. He never asks "What about me, dad?" At the grave, only what asling what he's supposed to do so that others can be happy or walk away living.

Honestly if Dean was ever a real person or if I was in the show. I would protect him no matter what. I’ll even die for him because he’s worth it. That goes for Sam too. Dean is such an underrated character, he deserves so much. He doesn’t deserve pain, he deserves happiness and love. But if you think about it, Dean is the most strongest person or character you know. No matter how much crap he’s going through he stayed strong. No matter how many times he wanted to give up. He still stayed strong. If dean didn’t go through all of that pain he wouldn’t be the same person today. This video has proved that Dean is unbelievably pure goodness full of emotions, full of life. I don’t regret becoming emotionally attached to him because he helped me; the SHOW helped me. If I’m ever having a bad day, or if I’m thinking about doing something that I will regret deeply. All I do is go on Netflix, press the title supernatural pick a season and watch my favorite episode. It works every time. If this show were ever going to end which it will eventually (sadly) . I can't begin to explain, what this show has done for me. I've lost so much. Been through so much. I love Sam and Dean both, but if I had to identify with one...I'd say it's Dean. More times than I can count, I've asked myself, "what am I supposed to do?"

Dean deserves everything good

My best friend whom was my absolute soulmate died almost 2 years ago and he was a bad alcoholic. Drank morning and night. Once in a long while, he was able to go sober for a month or two and he was strong for it. But once he gave in again, he couldn't stop. His body could not handle it anymore over the years. I was there for him in his last few years and I got to know him on a deep personal level. He was extremely depressed and showed me this video and other videos not too long before he died. He said that he WAS dean and that he feels the same way his character does. His name was Dawson and he had a rough past. He was one of the smartest people I have ever known, despite his addiction. RIP, brother.

I feel like I'm addicted to this show. When I first saw Dean, it was like I saw myself. I keep coming back every day becouse I feel like he's the only person who can understand me right now. And I love his character so much. But still I can't love myself. Sad.

He continues to show what an amazing actor he is.

I know he’s fictional but every time I see him in pain I want to hop through the screen and tell him that he matters and that it might not always feel okay, but it will be. I want to tell him that he’s not just a grunt and that thousand of people care about him. And I want to hug him and tell him that I hope his pain eases soon.

I will never stop proclaiming this: Supernatural saves lives. Even aside from the philanthropy that so many of the actors participate in to help those with mental health conditions, they might not even realize that by merely existing, and using their monumental talents to create this work of art, people who watch the show are experiencing a kind of healing and salvation by osmosis. Jensen Ackles is among the most talented actors who has ever been filmed. He deserves all the accolades that he is due and that are coming to him. Story of my life... Having to be ok for everyone around me, but being absolutely broken inside, not able to get the things I've done out of my head, and not knowing what to do with myself. I can't stop the fighting. It keeps on going in my head. Spending every day wanting nothing more than to just leave it all behind, but knowing my family needs me. This video is beautiful.

When Dean attacks the trunk of the Impala in Season Two I’ve never felt so much emotion from a tv show or movie. JA is an amazing actor to bring Dean to life like he does. Small moments, gestures, thoughts that cross his face come through to the viewer. I think that character is the real success of the show. If such a broken soul can battle his demons, then every broken person watching can battle theirs!
