We started by lowering the peak frequency to build a rich dynamically full tone. The initial pick attack is very responsive to technique. We’ve modified the magnetics to create a more precise semi-closed loop magnetic field yielding full range tone with detailed structure. Fusion 251 neck is 5.0K ohms.
Lace built a new specification Alumitone for the bridge. A bridge pickup, when properly designed compliments the neck pickup and works well with it.
In the bridge, we increased the strength on the magnetic field, added a back plate for the semi-closed loop magnet effect, then we’ve increased the resistance to 6.1 K ohms(X3 for actual output on any non Alumitone pickup). The net result is a full bridge that keeps up with the neck. You can now have the versatility of using your bridge equally as much as your neck.
