Deanna Stellato receives a 6.0 perfect presentation score at the 2000 Kerri Lotion Classic and calls Phillip Mills, her choreographer, to share the joy. She is accompanied by her long time coach, Cindy Watson Caprel.

I watched this on August 13, 2022, 22 years after the original event, and Deanna is still skating competitively, and is poised to have a strong season as a pair skater in Canada. Remarkable.

One of my favs at the time and it was so sad she had to retire due to injuries. But how great to see her skating pairs at age 33. I hope she and Nate will continue.

If Deanna could have remained healthy, I can almost guarantee a different medal podium at the 2002 Olympics. She is a great mixture of the best qualities of Kwan, Cohen and Hughes.

To be honest she was I think better than kwan! Deanna and both nikodinov BOTH had the best technique, sadly nikodinov couldn’t really sustain her level

Unfortunately her body just couldn't hold up to the stresses of a high level competitive skater. I believe she had a hip problem and possibly one or two other health issues that sadly forced her to retire just as she was beginning to make a mark on the senior level.

She ruined her hip practicing 3sal-3loop combinations. She was the class of the field. So glad she returned to skating as an adult. Her career should have been huge.
