my favorites well this is an old comment but hey if you are still wondering... Comedians usually have a "set" prepared that they preform for audiences while they tour. During one tour they use the same set. The same as a touring band. The jokes are memorized and usually they tweak the timing along the way to create maximum laughter per joke. During a tour they probably throw in new jokes one or two at a time mixed with the usual set. This helps them develope the joke to its full potential and it would perhaps be used for their next tour. Nowadays though so many stand ups are filmed for almost every performance. Filling KZfaq with jokes they have already done. But that's normal. Its only the easy access to video that we see the same joke told over and over. She probably comes out with new material every year or so. Writing jokes that you can set to timing of a stand up performance is not as easy as it looks at all.
