At 52, I look at America and Russia. I feel like these two countries have flipped roles. During the USSR years, the Soviets were atheist. They simply believed in the state. Plain and simple. Now, twenty plus years after the collapse of the USSR governance, they have returned to their Orthodox Christian faith. They've taken a great deal of steps to protect their children from Western so-called values. Even China, an openly communist country, has limited or removed Western values from their culture. Last is the first of the Seven Deadly Sins in the Catholic church. What Judah covered is why. It corrupts the soul. It changes who you are. If you want to see what God thinks of money, look at those he bestowed it on. Not pleasant. The Free Love movement from the 1960s has been turned upside down. It's disgusting to see what has happened to American society. I spent ten years in chaste state as a repentance for my past. And I was a single mom. The idea of ending up with an unholy man who would take advantage of my daughter didn't appeal to me.
