Thank you for this level of transparency. When Kenny said, “She helped me heal; but I wasn’t free.” It brought tears to my eyes! The entire interview was very good. Kenny L was a gracious guest, and I enjoyed hearing about his wife, son and prior relationship experiences. One thing that struck me is sometimes we are placed in position to prepare others for their future spouse. That used to irk me to no end. However, I see it as a pruning for both parties. No matter who decided to end the relationship, both should walk away with notes to work on self. God is something else, and life is something else. Both are intentional and should lead to better days of purpose if we allow. 🦋✨

I've grown to be a person that was looked at crazy because no matter what the fathers of my children did to ME I get along with their new partners and children. I feel like let my pain have purpose... if you learned something from me through your experience with me and used it to be a better man for the next woman all is well in my soul... cause she too deserves the great you are... I suffered for the both of us😂😳🤭... it really does make my soul smile and people think I'm crazy...God is amazing if he did it for them...I HAVE TO believe he'll do it for ME!!! One day....lol...it hasn't been easy being that person but I've grown as well and learned A LOT about MYSELF... I still fight with God but I'm learning to be obedient in Love with God not because I fear God... Dont be angry about it sis...just trust God that who he is crafting for you will be EXACTLY what you NEED...AND MORE...👭🏽🥰

Latarius you are definitely a game-changer. I was about to throw in the towel on black men and intentional relationships leading to marriage. I am a divorcee and I have waited for God to send me my boaz.. after years of wanting black men swirling out or selling out or just not living up to my and God's expectations on what a true king and head of the household looks like I began to be disgruntled. I started praying about the way I was feeling and asking God what did black women do to black men to make them turn their backs on us and the black community. Because I know so many women black women who have never been married or ever had a serious relationship with the black men who we are from the same Nation I personally had an almost Loveless marriage that produced two beautiful children but that's all that was beautiful about the marriage. Being a blood washed believer I began to doubt God. But one day I came across your Channel and knowing God to be intentional about everything and answering all prayers I have a new lease on love and understanding that there is hope for the black community and black love thank you for your transparency thank you for your podcast thank you for being a man of God because that's the one thing that the black community is very much in need is the presence of God in ourselves and in our relationships

This is powerful and I love Kenny. But he said something very important. He said he dated a young lady that helped him heal but he probably broke her heart. I recently left a guy alone and I told him to work on himself meaning to heal. When you get with a man who’s not healed over a past relationship you take a big risk ladies and I wasn’t willing to take it….wait on the Lord

AMEN... I have been in this situation... People and Pastors encouraging me to date this person who i was close to and we both liked each other ... But because of proximity, it was clear that there were issues that needed healing that would be an impediment to the flourishing of relationship. I would rather be a friend and continue to point you to Christ and His healing love, than simply date someone to feed a need or desire. His soul, healing and emotional/spiritual well being were more important to me than having a boyfriend and spouse.. Before they become your husband, they are your brother in Christ... I want my brothers and sisters r in Christ to thrive... Inside and outside of relationships, friendships and marriage.

Kenny is such a beautiful soul! This was probably one of the best podcasts I've seen. It was so inspiring and encouraging to know that there are good men out there who truly respect, honor, and value women not just for what they think she can give them sexually, but for who she is as a person. Very beautiful to watch this and I am getting healed emotionally by listening to men of such caliber. Thank you for sharing it was worth watching.

This episode right here!! To hear a black father talk about his son like that warms my heart. The parent tips that he gave was fire. “You don’t have to like me, but you will understand later”. Knowing that their brain is not fully developed until their 20’s should help parents understand that their children are only doing what they can with the knowledge and understanding that they have. The moment where he talked about the strong women in his life was important because he was looking for a strong woman and wasn’t intimidated when he found someone with strength. I loved how he talked about the choice to be married and helping people understand it’s not a magical thing. People get caught up in the fantasy and forget about the choice. Everyday you are choosing each other (or not). Then when he talked about being his wife’s assistant for a week. Drop the freaking mic!!! When you are in service to your spouse….. the marriage is going to be incredible….(both ways). Checklist are good for those who need them! I keep a checklist. Those that can free style like the host are blessed, but I have a daily list! I can’t! Lol! So many nuggets I could type but I will stop there! Fantastic interview! Enjoyed every moment. God bless him and Faith!

“This is definitely the one…I can make this decision.” I love how Kenny made the decision not just a choice when he married Faith. This conversation has provided so much reference as to how I need to analyze my single life prior to meeting my partner. It is my desire to be an asset to him, not a liability. If I move intentionally about seeing the value within my own self, I will know the value I will add to him and to those who love him. I now know how to pray for my future husband and the men who surround him. I love the words of affirmation ceremony. I respect men who have others who speak well of his character. So what an honor it will be to submit to a man who is affirmed as a man of God. I know that he can lead, protect, and provide for me. 💜

I loved this episode. I really enjoyed the part about his relationship with his son. Made me think of my oldest son he will be 30 next month and although there was always respect, we didn't become like friends till he was around 25, as he was beginning to experience things in life and realize how well of a foundation I helped him build and in his words, "How right you were about everything!" I'm enjoying our friendship now, but am glad that I was more concentrated on being my kids father while raising them not there friend. Keep doing what you're doing bro. Love you man!

This episode was awesome. Brotherly love, seeing the vulnerability & accountability Kenny openly shared was so genuine. I can now look at my experiences through a different lense especially when he said the he may have hurt the woman that helped him heal. That was one the few "Wow" moments for me. His respect for former relationships and saying they were quality. His relationship with his son and how he son views him had me in tears. This was just great! Thank you Laterras for being a visionary and hosting some of the best people on your show. Continued blessings!!!

First I want to say his wife is beautiful. My granny loves to watch her. When he was speaking about his son. Listen my birthday is 02/14 and I had my daughter 02/17 but the dr ask if I would like to have her on my birthday(c section). I said no. I want her to have her own special day..... This child of mine is me all over. I can't remember what happen but I remember I was about to say something to her and God stop me and said don't force your fears on her. That!!!! But we share a bond that I can't put into words. When she's hurting or something is wrong I can feel it. She got hurt at school and I was at work. A cold breeze hit me and papers flew off my desk and then I heard someone say Jada. I turned around no one was there. I pick up the phone and it started to ring. It was the school. It's crazy. Anyway I just wanted to share. Another great episode.

I really appreciate your podcast in so many ways! This segment with Kenny Lattimore has been truly inspirational to me as a single mother who has raised three young black men on my own. They had no father figures in their lives because no one took the time to share with them what it meant to be a black man in this world. However, I relied on my faith, on God's word and God's guidance to instruct me in the way to raise them. I can honestly say 30 years later, I am very proud and thankful for my sons. It's been a journey and I agree with Kenny, if you show your children your true self, they will appreciate who you are.

Wow this was such a beautiful interview with Kenny Lattimore. This really was my frist time ever really listening to Kenny talk about his life before he met Faith. Its some things he talk about in this interview really touch my heart that is the way he talk about how love his wife faith, the realationship he has with Jesus. and the things he taught his son about about building relationship with Jesus. Then also I admire how he never once said nothing negative about his ex wife Chante Moore.. He is such a very humble person with integrity, he has a good heart towards others people as well, and this what makes a man a good husband. I'm so happy that he finally found the one God kept for him, some people go all their life and still have not found that special person, but God is works in mysterious ways you got be ready your heart open to receive his blessing because God best matchmaker. I also like the guy host this podcast he not like other people has interview with people always butting in the conversation not letting people talk also he person appreciate people who very talented I like how he said purpose parther I never looked at it that way that's exactly what it is. I pray God send him his purpose parther soon because he definitely will make good husband.
