It's impossible to tell someone's mental state just by looking at them, can't imagine what Moonbin was going through all along. I just hope he's at a better place now. RIP angel 🕊, you truly deserved better.

When I opened KZfaq and saw a video I thought it was a lie. I thought someone was making some bs clickbait video. I'm not an Astro fan. But Moonbin always had my respect. He was a fantastic performer and always great to see. People have to learn. I remember when JongHyun died. I was devastated. And to know that this is still happening... God it hurts. Remember him for who he was and pray for the people in his life (or don't. do whatever you believe.) And please be sensitive towards other idols who were his friend. And now I'm gonna go cry cause I got emotional. Take care of yourselves everyone.

I met Moonbin when I was 17, hardest moments of my life up to now. Astro made me so happy in my teens, they really made me happy, a concept I didn't understand at that age. Then, I lost my dad at 18, and I got help by watching astro funny moments, he and the group made me feel good in a moment where I didn't even know how or what to feel. My heart is so broken. I'll miss our pretty Binnie my whole life. I'll forever love him. I just hope Moonbinnie was happy enough, I hope he had the opportunity to fall in love, to live his life, to experience all the good moments even if they didn't last long. To everyone who's reading this, please know that you are loved, even if you feel alone, there's always someone who would love you. You are important, you are loved.

I'm going to take a break from the internet. Astro was the first group I got into. Moonbins smile helped me through a lot. It sickens me that people on the internet can be so cruel. I'm also concerned about his friends and colleagues in the industry...Just hoping this will finally bring mental health into the conversation and things are put in place to check on artists. Hug your friends and family and let them know they're loved. If anyone needs support, come to me. I will listen.

I simply haven’t stopped crying. I found out in the middle of my math class and all I can say is “im so sorry” over and over hoping that he could hear me. Granted, im not gonna sit here and pretend im the biggest fan of Astro, but I did know Moonbin and I know that he is an incredible human. No one deserves to suffer and he will simply never be forgotten.

Assuming it is depression, depression for some people does not mean always hurting. People with depression are not always depressed all the time. There are moments when we feel happy, truly happy, but then the pain comes again and again and never leaves until it becomes too much. So I like to think that when they smile, they are happy. Of course, without forgeting that they might have something going on. I don't want to invalidate their happy moments because I don't know when they are faking it and when they aren't. Rest in peace, Moonbin. I'm mostly a hybe stan so I never check them out, but the news devastate me just the same

Just saw the news. Astro was my very first K-pop group right after I watched my first ever 2 kdramas. 2 kdramas and 1 K-pop group into my whole journey is how I got into them. I may not be too into them anymore but that was my first group and I liked Moonbin. I hate this happened. I pray that everyone loves and respects people, no matter who they are

My heart is in pieces right now. I feel so numb and I don't even have the words to explain how hurt I feel right now. I have been a fan and admirer of many talented individuals over the years and so many of them have sadly left us. I can't believe this keeps happening. Again and again and again and I so tired of it. I just got home when I heard the news and just sat down in my bed and cried. It’s just so unbelievable. i don't even stan astro and i wasn't the biggest fan of their music but i knew who they were i knew moonbin, i knew he had the best smile and the sweetest laugh, but this is fr a big problem in the k-pop industry and no actualy its a problem everywere, ppl spreading hate to others just for their own pleasure, making others feel bad isn't something to be happy over, and the hate against members, kpop groups, celebs need to stop, just let everyone be, and the fact that some ppl only realise that now is so messed up, someone had to die to make them realise that hating on a person for no good reason is wrong and can cause serieus problems. i hope he can rest in peace without any trouble and that his family, freinds and members can mourn in peace i love you moonbin

I've been an Aroha since they debuted and at first my bias was Eunwoo but by there 3rd comeback I fell in love with Moonbin and he's been my new bias ever since. I will never forget how i felt today 😢 I literally didn’t know what to do….I was going around saying “you don’t know what someone is going through” till like few hours ago but turns out i didn’t know to start with 💔 Literally felt my heart dropping to the floor for the first time. I was a person commenting “moonbin is a human healer” in every single Moonbin video i’ve seen which i will cherish till i also become a tiny teeny star next to Binnie’s. I don’t like to bring other peoples experiences but I also became a Shawol two months after we lost Jonghyun and i thought i could guess how they felt at the moment…turns out the feeling that i imagined was not even close to a real experience. I can’t say that Astro is my favorite group i can say that Moonbin was my go to person when i needed to see someone smiling so big to me (I love people with pretty smile, it gives me hope) Binnie will always be my human healer, will always be someone to remember when everyone starts to forget about him…A lot of people pass away or take their own lives.I was trying to calm myself down saying that it happens a lot, as long as they are happy leaving the world the way they do it, it is their choice. I was feeling so dizzy that my sight blacked out for few minutes from to shock but also i can’t stop thinking about the reason why he might’ve done this. If he was an ordinary man living an ordinary life (this will be a cliche) this wouldn’t happen probably.Lİke i said a lot of people come and go everyday but it’s just extra sad that someone goes bc they couldn’t handle the negativity the pressure and possibly hate…. i’m lucky enough to have never dealt with a death of someone close to me, so this is tha first time i’ve ever cried over a death. i’m not personally a fan of astro but i knew a bit about moonbin and i really liked him, plus i just feel so connected to k-pop now and everything that goes on within that community so this was still devastating to me. it’s impossible for us to understand what he was going through definitely considering idols have to project an image of happiness all of the time. please be the most considerate and compassionate to Moonbin’s family, members and supporters.

thank you seb he was my bias and was the reason I got through the pandemic all of astro was so when rocky left that really made me sad and now having this happen very unexpectedly it really hit me hard. so hard that idk what to do I know I can't help and I wish that I could. he was such a beautiful person and everyone loved him. but saying that I really hope people will remember him for who he was, his legacy, and especially his smile which was the best part of him. moonbin you were so loved and you will always be loved.

Some people, including me didnt know Moonbin very well but came across him now and again, making us smile, laugh and have a good time. Moonbin impacted so many people's lives so positively and brightly even if only knowing him briefly.

Don’t forget something everyone. A life is more than the moment of passing. Moonbin would better appreciate it if we remembered the life he lived and the moments he smiled for us, not the moment he left. Same thing with everyone else. I like astro and I love all of the members, so to hear this news so suddenly it just… broke me. I’m almost in denial that it’s true. I think that being a fan of Astro was really put aside. people were genuinely sad as fans of kpop in general and the reality of losing another much loved idol whether a fan or not. Rest in peace Moonbin. I am an old school Shawol so I have been through this and I brought my daughter to see Astro when they were in DC. She had a meet and greet and came out exclaiming "Moonbin just looked through my soul". I'm so glad he brought so much happiness - that will be his beautiful legacy.

That's why i hate fanwars and other fan hating other idols coz they're not their fave. Like you said we see them smiling, laughing but deep inside their sad lonely.
