You guys seem to love this “How to Look Taller & Slimmer” series, so I thought I would put together another one for you. So today I’m going to pick out 3 outfits and transform them. Color (even black/white), proportion, and garment cut can make quite a difference. Even while I love and own each piece shown, the outfit combination is the most important thing to keep in mind. 1. Tuck in shirt 2. Jean's that fit 3. Darker jeans dont draw the eye 4. Monochrome outfit 5. Skin tone shoes to accent ankles 6. Adding heels 7. Jackets that are really long or cropped. 8. Showing ankles 9. High waisted pants 10. No horizontal stripes (if you do, thinner strips work) 11. Riser inserts in shoes 12. I don't know if she mentioned this but I saw her do this with the long-sleeve striped top, she rolled the sleeves up so that it shows a part of her arms. I'm also petite and I do this often, which I find kinda elongates you instead of the long-sleeve "eating up" your frame.

I’m only 5 flat and all my 20s I went without knowing these tricks, now I go shopping I feel so confident and excited to try clothes and see what difference it makes. Ladies remember, if you’re on the shorter side being at a healthy weight for you height is also so so so helpful.

"I really feel fashion as a form of makeup" is interesting to me because as a makeup lover I only recently gotten into fashion (your videos help sooo much!) And realized how fun and how much similarities fashion has to wearing makeup and how they both have a "theory". I’m 5’1 and also a pear shape. Your videos are super helpful especially because I’m feeling lost and out of touch with fashion ever since I’ve started working from home. I always felt confident in my office outfits but now I don’t ever leave the house so I don’t put much effort into my appearance anymore. I do small workouts throughout my workday so I wear athletic attire but it’s definitely not fashionable. Your last outfit in this video is totally my style! Thank you for inspiring me with all these tips!

I love your videos because you are not only super informative, but also have the most soothing speaking voice. It's also great to have someone who understands the petite struggle and gives tips and advice specifically about this. The first video I saw of yours that attracted me to your channel was the one where you talked about the different ways to look and come off as more your age. Arab Suho I find that coats that fit quite slim and hit mid calf look really nice. High waisted skirts of the same length look great as well. I’m 4’9” and it gives a really nice long line. But id never wear like, an oversized men’s wool coat, even if it was shorter than the midi length coat.

Usually everyone guesses me to be around 5’6 even though I’m only 5’4, the thing is I’m always in black and high wasted pants or high wasted leggings. It really makes a difference!

3:50 i would feel so 'bare' with the thin shirt and tight pants...however it looks good on you. Never realised skin tones shoes do exist! Great! Now i remember in my (elegant) sandals in nature colour i got many compliments. I am tall but i realised i have also broadness in bones which confused me and notice these tips help me! Super

Bethany, I am in my mid 30s and it wasn't until this last year and a half of watching you that I figured out why I looked so frumpy in regular clothing. Honestly, I wasn't even shopping petite and we have the SAME measurements. It makes so much sense and I look so much better that people think I've lost weight. I never used to tuck in my tops as I felt it would make me look boyish since only they tuck their shirts. but after watching your videos I tried tucking them in and I changed my looks for the better also I never bought tees though I liked some of the prints because I like to dress super girly as the tomboyish look doesn't suit me , and once again changed my life. I saw your thumbnail today and had to come here and express my gratitude.

I’m 5’7 and a size 10/12, so I’m definitely not petite but this is so helpful to help me not look larger than I am. I have found that I look better/slimmer in high rise pants or jeans.

I have same height and body shape as yours. And these tips help a lot. One thing I have been doing for years is having high waist jeans or bottoms and tucking in the top. The most outstanding tip was using same color for torso and legs, it does give an illusion of being tall. Thank you for all the advice ❤️

I have a short torso, I learned that recently thanks to your videos and Jenny Mustards'. High rise jeans look so weird on me, medium rises actually fit me as high waisted jeans do on people with proportions similar to yours.

Being a taller girl (5’11”) who loves being tall, these are great tips. I have a long torso, so all the high-waisted pants are must haves. Cropped tops are sometimes too short for me, but rolling or tucking a regular top is perfect. Thanks for sharing these tips and your style with us.

Hi! Match it to the rest of your outfit so the cut blends in and still elongates rather then highlighting your widest point. 🤗
