I just love how Bethany talked about how she's choosing Vader for loyalty, and cause she's invested in star wars. And then Ken just went "Loyalty is for suckers" and chose Obito. Absolutely amazing.

The Regeneration makes the outcome obvious. And the insane amount of Ranged attacks Obito has that he can just spam till Vader dies

What I love in this battle was Obito showing compassion to Vader.

I think the reason Vader lost to Obi Wan twice was due to his overconfidence (ROTS) and his emotions toward Kenobi (Kenobi show). Their last duel on the Death Star Vader was the master of the two as said by him he had finally matured and mastered his abilities

This Death Battle was the most intense battle out there that focus on Dark Characters with Redemption at the end. As it’s hard to believe that the crew who done Obi Wan V Kakashi done this this battle for a a darker atmosphere of the battle. Also the music was so good to bring chills of Naruto mix Star Wars with a dark ora theme. So the next battle after this one is Jean Gray v Raven “Phoenix v Raven”/“Marvel v DC” as it’s like the battle of Scarlet Witch v Zanatana Death Battle. I hope you two check it out or other Death Battles our there. 😄

Naruto has such good lore and characters that have amazing stories, glad you guys watched this! Recommend watching the death battle with Madara Uchiha as well! Side note, Obito had an alias where he used the name ‘Tobi’ (the pun they used at the end of the video)

for some reason the ending of this battle felt really somber and just...sad, maybe it was the writing with Obito essentially giving Vader the peace of the vision from the moon jutsu and the line of "I release you from your hell"- idk, i really enjoyed this battle.

I noticed that he says “Find peace in the Next Life” before killing him with a sword that destroys Souls. Meaning Vader doesn’t get to go to the ‘next life’

Spoilers: “Find peace in the next life.” Gonna be a little tough to do that after Obito disintegrated Vader with a soul-destroying sword. Not gonna lie, kinda a dick move.

The didn't mention or make use of the biggest weakness of Obito's phasing ability. He can't breath while he's doing it since your lungs can't hold oxygen when all physical matter passes through you, and he also can't pull himself or others into the other dimension while intangible. One of the strategies to defeat him that's used in the anime is to trap him in an area of sustained danger like a fireball, poisonous gas, or continuous explosion till he can't hold his breath anymore and turns tangible to breath thus suffering the damage of his environment.

This is a great Death Battle, it can honestly go either way in the winner, but I ain't here for a winner, I'm here for a good time and I got that in Spades with it's Awesome Animation by DevilArtemis (who you may know as the animator for TFS's HFIL series as well as animating for previous DBs like Gannon vs Dracula), amazing dialogue between the two("You are liberated from hell. Find peace in the next life" may be my favorite kill line of the season) and Beautiful music to go withthe battle

When I initially saw this I thought he'd break out of the trance at the end like he did in the Vader comics where he was offered a path to peace with Padme in killing Palpatine while on a mission and showing the outcome and he breaks out without much effort by instantly understanding its a lie. Something similar also happened in those comics when he made his sith lightsaber crystal.

I wonder if someone revived with Edo Tensei could use The Force. Because there is an actual living sacrifice that plays host to the soul of whoever is revived. And Minato could still use Sage Chakra which is kind of Forcey. Just imagine Obito using Edo Tensei to bring back Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Dooku in immortal form to fight Vader.

Due to the fight having to be short, this was kinda ridiculous, but I also think that the difference between the two is pretty big, obito without the ten tails stands a good chance against Vader, but with it, he's way too powerful, even though he loses the one ability that makes him pretty much unkillable by Vader, he also gets really crazy regeneration. Plus even in the anime they don't use all of the abilities he has access to.

The final Genjutsu illusion from Obito was the entire goal for the villains, because it was one that nobody at any power level could break from.

I agree with the outcome, though I think DB was being extremely generous to Vader. DB is overestimating Vader's speed because they're relying on blaster bolts in SW being lasers, but they aren't: they're plasma, just like the blade of a lightsaber. As such, blaster bolts travel MUCH slower than light speed. That's why we can see them fly from point A to point B with our very normal eyes.

I didnot like how they ended, yes, Obito should win, but not with the illusion, there are plenty of comics where The Force itself tempts Vader into a worlds where everybody is alive and he is happy but Vader always rejects it, because he knows what he did and accepts it, killing Obiwan, Padme, and Anakin with his own hands again if it means get out of the illusion.

They definitely forgot to mention and include several of Obito's most OP ocular abilities like Inazagi, Planetary Devastation, and Teleportation, but in all fairness it would probably take too long to list all of them. Vader is crazy strong, but Obito is easily among the strongest characters in any fictional universe. Vader didn't really stand much of a chance here.

You have to understand, Obi Wan does say those words, because it is true. However, I think Obi Wan knew that he couldn’t beat Vader at that point. I think that’s why he stopped fighting back. He knew he couldn’t beat Vader, but that his death would spur Luke on. At least that’s what I think.

I don’t want to ruin anyone’s day but Vader stomps obito hilariously, and here’s why All force wielders possess force augmentation. This increases their base durability, speed, strength, and other statistics. This is explained in comics and novels compared to the movies. This is similar to how chakra would increase in Naruto. That’s why your ridiculous AP argument/speed blitz doesn’t count, and why Vader and obi wan won’t die to a single hit by either obito or Kakashi. Force wielders can amplify their strength and speed, same as chakra enhancements. For example, Darth Bane in his novel trilogy was able to move so fast when during a rain storm while practicing his own saber sequences not a drop of rain landed on him minus his own fucking sweat generated from practicing. This shows relativistic to FTL combat speeds and all force wielders from the prequels scale above this Bane who isn’t even in his prime. This was after his orbalisk armor nerf and when he and his apprentice zannah fought off a group of Jedi. If you say legends is non canon or this isn’t what is shown, then you’ve only ever watched the films to think the Jedi and sith are moving slow and go fuck yourself. That’s your only argument to discredit the large part of Star Wars because you have nothing else and guess what, all the Naruto novels and anime isn’t canon either. Only the manga is. The anime was made by SP based off the manga Kishimoto made. Even canon Star Wars characters have shown planet level feats. All force wielders possess precognition through the force. The force can tell them any form of danger through the entire scope of battle. And this ability is better than your Sharingan precognition and is entirely active at any point instead of eye contact. A force wielder cannot turn this ability off by any means since they’re entirely connected to the force. Also, force wielders by extension, are trained to negate the other’s precognition, also explained in the Darth Bane novels. That’s why you see many of the prequels and original films being overchoreographed, such as the Ani Obi spin, because they’re trying to throw each other off, so your sharingan precognition is hilariously cancelled out while force wielders still have theirs. All force wielders possess immunity or high resistance to illusions due to their training. So yes, all your genjutsu are negated. Your Sharingan Genjutsu argument won’t apply here because force wielders are trained to resist mental attacks and influences. Force wielders are scaled low 1-C in mind hax due to how the force works, while genjutsu in Naruto don’t even make it past 5-B from Infinite Tsukuyomi. Also, the force will just tell Obi wan or Vader to not meet either Kakashi or obito in the eye. That’s how the force will work and genjutsu can be avoided this way. It was stated back in part 1 that avoiding eye contact is a way to avoid genjutsu but all you morons just argue MS genjutsu GG or wank the sharingan. And guess what? Force wielders also possess their own mind hax that Naruto characters cannot resist. Vader can use force horror to reduce Obito, Sasuke, or any Uchiha to a canonic fearful state and unlike the sharingan that requires eye contact, this is instant and thought based hax which they have no resistance against because it’s based off pre existing fears. Vader doesn’t even need to raise his fingers or hands, and he doesn’t just have this. Every sith can utilize this. Lord Kaan was able to mind hax a few thousand sith under his Brotherhood of darkness. The same sith who resisted mind hax because of the force. Obito was only able to mind control Yagura lol. As for why force wielders possess low 1-C mind hax resistance, from the Jedi Path, Abilities of the Mind are also drawn from the Unifying Force. These operate on a different plane than the physical--they exist in the realm of thought and memory. All force wielders possess Tutaminis, the ability to channel and absorb any form of energy based abilities. All your ninjutsu Kakashi or Obito has is useless. They’re deflected or channeled with Tutaminis. Tutaminis is an ability that was taught to every Jedi and sith. What’s stopping from Obi Wan or Vader from destroying kakashi’s or Obito’s internal organs, crushing their brains, or even ragdolling them with TK the moment they detect how dangerous they are with the force, or snapping their necks? And yes, that’s how the force works. It isn’t like Pain’s Almighty Push or Pull at all and much better. The force is an infinite energy supply and energy field. You only say it doesn’t work like that because one, the Jedi and sith have been shown hilariously underpowered in the films because of limitations and the fact GL wanted it to be set in a real world of another galaxy far far away. The Jedi are limited because of their reverence for the life and the Jedi code. Two, the novels and the comics are a more accurate and true depiction of what Jedi and sith can do. They’re overpowered glass cannon mages with hax and unique and unorthodox abilities. That’s why they die to laser fire at times in TCW. Most of you never even owned a single comic or novel to see how Jedi and sith fight, you’ve only seen the films. Vader can use force horror to mind hax obito and show him his worst fears, crush Obito’s neck, use force combustion to telekinetically blow apart his body, or force crush an organ. And yes, Kamui is negated because the force can exist in everything and everywhere. Obito will be harmed. His Kamui dimension ain’t doing shit to defend him or make him invulnerable. That’s why obi wan literally tells Luke it’s an energy field surrounded by all living things that binds the entire galaxy together. Vader can kill obito instantly with multiple options through the force. Obito has only a few options that are hard countered or too situational to use. Same with Kakashi vs Obi wan. Obi wan can pluck him out of his susanoo or crush him starkiller method in his chakra megazord (yes. Starkiller isn’t the only force wielder who can do this. The only reason he got that distinction was because there were no other visual representation of other force wielders doing the same. Vader was able to telekinetically blow apart a AT-AT apart that threatened to crush him and this was in one of the Marvel Vader comics in Disney Canon, where he is hilariously weaker than his Legends counterpart. Anakin did something similar where he ripped a large droid in half), and smash him with telekinesis until he’s red paste, or splatter his guts everywhere. The Force is in...everything. The air, the surroundings, in people, etc. There's even talk in-verse that the Force created the Galaxy itself and is an entity. It's been around since people could record history and most likely predates it. Force Sensitives have effectively infinite energy to draw upon, but are limited by their own stamina and skill to employ it. Yet unlike shinobi, shinobi immediately die once their chakra and stamina hits zero, this has been explained in early part 1. Force wielders simply become exhausted from overuse like how exercising works. Neither Kakashi or Obito can't interact with the force. I will say the only reason why kakashi didn’t win was because they didn’t use his final form, kakashi ends up getting both eyes for a short period of time and was more powerful than both Naruto and Sasuke combined and did most of the damage to the final villain, he was faster and stronger than obito and also had all of obitos abilities plus his own

You should watch Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Sadly, you just spoiled yourselves on one of the most monumental moments of the entire franchise. Obito/Tobi/Fake Madara is one of the best characters in the entire franchise. As Tobi, he’s like Jar Jar Binks done right. We’ve only seen theories of Darth Jar Jar, but we haven’t actually seen it come true. Tobi on the other hand is the real deal. 11:59 By the way at this timeframe, it’s supposed to be a war to end all wars. All of the people Obito’s fighting against in this war are only a small fraction of the entire world’s population, because not everyone is a ninja, and some ninjas are back in their villages for security purposes.

The difference between the two all came down to that last ultimate jutsu Obito used. It is not a normal mind trick or genjutsu. It is powerful enough to enslave the minds of entire worlds, not just a single person, erasing and rewriting memories, minds and perception of billions (or even trillions) of people all at once. But with every bit of that power focused on just Vader alone, he has never faced anything like it before.

Obito is destroying Vader easy, I doubt Vader can even kill him with the regeneration and kamui, sword of nunumboko no diffs light saber.
