@J Foster he wasn't necessarily evil, he just wanted to prove himself to his father, and he didn't care what he had to do in order to get that acceptance. Aang came and let him know that he didnt need his father's acceptance. Both weren't necessarily evil, but they did go through some kind of change in mindset.

J Foster to be fair, he probably didn’t look at the fire nation as evil, since he’d grown up there, and probably was just as likely to have been inundated with propaganda as those kids in “the headband” while growing up. People are rarely the villains in their own stories

@DwayneandJazz Torodoki’s wound on his eye was actually an frost wound, His mother after noticing she poured Hot Boiling water on his eye, she tried to remove the heat boiling his eye, she froze it with her quirk, causing an frost bite wound. Not knowing cold water would not leave that scar as bad compare to when using her powers.

On shoto forgiving his dad, I've had a number of close friends and even my current gf who grew up with abusive parents. I don't pretend to understand what that's like but they all have said they would forgive them if they got a genuine apology because they just want a chance at a real relationship with them. So Shoto forgiving his dad doesn't seem as far fetched to me. Its at the very least plausible

Air bending: astrol projection and very rare flight Water bending: blood bending, healing, ice bending, mud bending and plant bending (bending the water in the plants) Earth bending: metal bending, sand bending, mud bending, lava bending and seismic sense (detecting vibrations in the ground to perceive aspects of their environment) Fire bending: combustion bending, lightning bending and lightning redirection Avatar: energy bending (taking another person's bending away forever and can bring their bending back to them) and turn into a huge blue spirit (shown in The Legend of Korra) Hope I got everything

And they have spirit projection, which is literally the safest way of getting intel. Plus, metal bending and lightning manipulation was just as rare as flying when it was introduced so in the future more airbenders could fly

Wally West is probably one of the more well known versions of Flash, he was the Kid Flash, and in the popular and well known Justice League cartoon he was the main version of the Flash used. As for Sonic...yeah..Archie Sonic has some..rather OP moments that put stuff done in the games to shame. Archie Comic's version of Sonic was super long running and so has quite a number of feats to draw from just like Wally..expect to hear some crazy stuff about Sonic that if you've only seen the SatAM Sonic show, the Sonic X anime, or played the games..you didn't think Sonic could do. Also..fun fact, in one dimension hopping volume Sonic went to an alternate world where everything was like a Japanese Tokusatsu show..he and his heroic allies were based off of the Gatchaman characters..if you don't know who those are..look up Super Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. Also for those who don't know what Tokusatsu are, Power Rangers/Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, Ultraman..stuff like that.

Some airbenders have an affinity for spirits but we've never seen them use it to do anything in combat. The Avatar can energy bend.

I imagine Vacuum, Shroud and Weather bending, as well as and instant flight, would be part of the Air Bending skill tree. Vacuum bending would moving emptiness of space around like a fluid (for maximum succ), and Shroud-bending, can make the surroundings clear or hazy, depending on whatever air is available (clouds are also bendable). Weatherbending summons storms, natural tornados (not requiring their own bending) or clear skies wherever. Heat bending could also be an optiion when the temperature of ther air being bent would be bent as well. In cannon: Water-benders get Ice, Blood, and Swamp bending Earth gets Metal bending and an op radar sense Fire gets Lightning (where loosing and redirecting are seperate) and Lava bending as well as blue fire.

Fun fact: The episode was originally meant to have aired earlier in the first half of season 7 but technical difficulties led to it getting delayed to the second half. This actually changed the result of the fight as without the delay, Zuko was planned to win thanks to what was assumed to be an insane speed gap but recent feats from the MHA manga closed the gap enough for Todoroki to take the win.

Fun fact, Todoroki’s scar doesn’t actually come from his mom burning his face with the water it came from her trying to heal him with her ice, which caused the tissue to be incapable of healing

In case you missed it they are using the Sonic from the Archie comics not the video game Sonic Archie Sonic is way stronger than the video game one not to mention he’s more fleshed out and has character development in comics plus Tail isn’t a coward like in the video games and Shadow isn’t an edge lord like he is in the video games... wish the games were just as great as the comics

Zuko was suppose to win that easily. They said that they were the same speed but have examples of zuko redirecting lightning, but todoroki matches him through a bunch of people when it was stated that bakugo didn't fight him at full power.

I think the reason for no subcategory powers for airbending is due to the fact that airbending was primarily for fun and done by monks. It's a peaceful element in a sense so it's not meant to contort things, but also wasn't there very few Airbender in Korra as well?? I just don't think there was enough to build upon for airbending to develop a subcategory skill.

Alright Shoto should’ve won as soon as he used his heavenly piercing ice wall especially since if it didn’t freeze Zuko it would’ve most def killed him Besides Zuko could never produce flames as hot as shoto. That scene where his flame contestes Shoto’s giant wall? Such bs not even Aang or any avatar really could do something like that (from what we’ve seen). One of the thing that differs ATLA from real anime is that even tho you can be strong as hell in ATLA, anime basically gives the character no limits. Characters from Naruto, DBZ, My hero, hell, even Light from Death Note or Shinra from fire force could defeat zuko Not saying zuko is weak or any character from ATLA is, just saying ATLA actually gives their people limits while anime only seems to keep breaking those limits till those characters are unbelievably strong af Shoto shouldn’t have needed to go plus ultra but I guess in the end he won anyway so it’s gucci

Roku and Kyoshi showed the ability of lavabending, pretty sure they can produce hotter flames than todoroki, aang's airbending in the avatar state alone could probably wipe todoroki, he took down a whole rock formation with wind, imagine what he could do with fire.

Airbenders have astral projection (like when Jenora used it to find Kai in season 3). Also everyone counts bloodbending as a subtype of water bending, but it's just bending the element that exists inside someone's body. What Zahir did to the Earth Queen is basically the same thing.

idk if anyone has pointed this out but that's not just sonic that's the sonic from archie comics who is one of the most op characters i know. He once ran across 1,000 universe's going over 16 trillion times light speed, reacted and beat his own shadow in a pico-second and when super sonic and hyper knuckles bumped into each other they accidentally destroyed a whole zone which is roughly the size of our own milky way just to name a very small number of his feats i'm genuinely surprised there using this sonic
