Nobody knew his name, but everyone knew his face. For he was 'the LIDL guy', the STAR of the famous TV campaign. This morning, he was found tragically DEAD. So we wanted to know more, and headed to a typical parisian nonchalant café to sit and talk with two of the key people in his tragic life: Dexter McKinley & Philippe Le Vigan.

When I was 5, I saw the LIDL guy for the first time in Orgeres en Beauce. Very inspiring, he said « huuuummm YOU, YOU’LL BE ONE OF THE 672 BEST SOCCER PLAYER IN EURE ET LOIR !!! » Now I’m 9, and I just achieved a PhD in astrophysics thanks to this guy. RIP, a little star shining in our hearts.
