@@kingrichards9295 Nobody has right to destroy the flow of any river, including us. We are a river based civilization. We will not behave like desert cultures. But that doesn't mean we will not punish our enemy. During floods, even we cannot control all the water. We aren't stupid like China that diverted all the floods from Beijing to Their inner provinces that submerged whole bunch of provinces for weeks on end. We will face similar issue if we try to do it. We need to be smart about riverine wetlands and not destroy natural habitats. That is a concern as well. Hindus will have to keep in mind lives of animals and birds as well.

It is about political instability, lack of development/education and other major factors. Saudi Arabia etc. have similar ideologies as in Pakistan. Those countries are flourishing a 1000 times better than even India 🇮🇳. For Europeans the rivers are in no way holy. But watch the cleanliness in their societies. Much higher standards than south asia.

@@stone9126 Thank you brother. As many people assume, it‘s not Pakistan‘s islamic foundation which is the core issue, it might be a secondary issue. But I think the problem lies within the vicious cycle of the corrupt in power. Once this cycle breaks, Pakistan will succeed. If we’re lucky, we need only ONE proper army chief. He could change the course of our history. Change must come from the top. A change from the bottom keeps getting crushed. Establishment is too powerful. Authority must be diverted from army to government. It can only be done from within and by a powerful force. Either a coup within the army or the army chief himself bringing a change.

His particular affliction is using selective data and then rationalising the point to make it seem reasonable. It’s very well done most times. However, in this case it’s pure dishonesty. Kishenganga verdict went India’s way because the right to the flow-of-water projects is available to India even on the three rivers given to Pakistan. There was a proviso for the height and that was eventually agreed upon. So it had nothing to do with India’s power or Pakistan’s helplessness. This guy does not even admit that till this day, Pakistan’s Indus water commission borrows all data from India. They don’t even have the systems in place to collect rudimentary data. When the ICJ asked them for data to substantiate their claims, Pakistanis simply said they were sorry, but they can only give a ‘rough estimate’. The ICJ thus had only Indian data to refer to. And this chap calls it helplessness in front of powerful countries. No, it’s sheer incompetence and dereliction of national interest on Pakistan’s part. Bottom line, no matter how erudite they may seem, a Pakistani mind is an indoctrinated mind, and it cannot see beyond that initial brainwashing of Hindu India being the eternal enemy of the ummah.

Even though Pakistan got 80% of water through Indus Water Treaty, you still blame India for utilizing its meagre share of water. Pakistan doesn't have will to build dams on your share of rivers for the storage of water for the overall good and welfare of your people. You have polluted whatever water flows into Ravi river and made useless for the utilization. Intellectual like you Mr. Muzammil shall be impartial on India's rights on India's share of waters. As per Indus Water Treaty India even has the right to build barrages for the generation of electricity on Indus, Jhelum and Chenab rivers and India is doing the same without violating Indus Water Treaty.

According to Indus Water Treaty, Rabi, Beas, Sutlej were allocated to India. From day 1, Ravi water could have been stopped if there was a nationalist Indian government which had built a dam. In fact, Pakistan should he grateful India continues to honor the treaty despite 3 overt attacks by Pakistan in 1965, 1971, 1999 and covert war by supporting terror in Kashmir, and also the Khalistan movement. Of course no one can forget 26/11.

Muzammil please correct your record , After Indus water treaty in 1962 , India started working on its dams , which eventually materialized in late 80s. Till then we had full flow of water in Ravi . I remember seeing Ravi in full floods and in its peak during late 70s and early 80s :)

I've listened to several of your videos and I'll somewhat agree that the majority of the time you've been very unbiased. But what you said about the URI attack in the first 7 seconds of this particular video completely threw me off. Jaish-e-Mohammed, a Pakistan-based jihadist organization was involved in the planning and execution of the attack and they even proudly boasted about it. Rattle and Kishanganga projects are on Chenab and Jhelum which are 3 western rivers along with Indus in Indus Water Treaty 1960. India can use water of it but can’t construct storage reservoirs. Rattle and Kishanganga are run off river projects, they don’t require reservoirs and water storage structures. The real issue is Pakistan’s obsession with India, they consider poking their nose in every Indian affairs as their birthright.

Mister is respectful .And calling him just 'modi' is not disrespectful. Biden is called 'Biden'. Putin is called 'putin' and modi will be called 'modi'. Nothing wrong or disrespectful.
