This anime helped me during my phase of my depression, every time I start thinking about leaving this world and committing suicide, I directly remember the final episode of death parade and how suicide is such a selfish thing. I'm glad that this anime does exist.

I'm happy to hear that! Yeah its it's very selfish. Everyone has someone who would be affected by suicide! Even if you don't have someone, a stranger could be mentally affected by hearing someone died normally but way worse if by suicide. I have a terrible illness. Only 1 in 1million people have it. It manifested when I was 19. Autoimmune, destroys all muscles with no way to regain them. It also attacks the diaphragm and heart, resulting in death by failure. My heart has slowly become weaker and weaker with my blood pressure dropping. Estimates death within the next 10 Years. I'm 34, lost my ability to walk in my 20s, so I feel my youth was stolen.l I'm on heavy duty pain killers like fentanyl patches, which are generally prescribed only for cancer patients. I wake up, watch videos, move anime or manga,

@@cloudexmachina it's scenes with music - almost nothing is synchronized. some scenes just happen to fit to the music. You clearly haven't had any indepth experience with editing. maybe you should reconsider talking about it like you know everything.

@@cozycarry Actually, no. I personally don't edit, but prove me wrong and say that the scenes are not synchronized. The scenes are carefully chosen to fit the song. It's like when there is an epic introduction of a protagonist, many amv makers try to synchronize that with the drop of a song. Drop as in the climax of the song. This song was really hard to synchronize, since it's jazz and jazz is the least popular music genre for amvs. Notice how from 3:09 up until 3:16 are really intense scenes, and you should also notice that the song also intensified, meaning that it was synchronized to the intense moment. Another example of this is more of a build up than a climax, but I'll still include it in as an example of synchronization --- > 2:50 - 3:00.

Forcing the "players" to evaluate their life choices at the pearly gates to see if they get entry or get sent down under. The show is deliberately dark, and doesn't condone killing of any kind. An obvious observation if you watch the show. The wounds they receive are simply the ones they had in life playing out.

I gotta say this is by far the best AMV I've ever seen. It's simple yet made so perfectly considering that the anime and the song match so perfectly. Unlike most AMVs, this one actually made me want to watch it over and over not because it's my favorite anime, but because it is genuinely amazing and aesthetic to watch. Amazing job. (My fav part is 3:13 - 3:35)

This song fits this show perfectly it has that underlying feel of dread hidden within its notes, and the show gives off that same vibe. From the cover of it the theme song and the art style one would think this show is just a happy go lucky sit and binge, but ohh my dear how wrong you are. Its a show that gets you thinking it challenges beliefs and ultimately makes you appreciate your life a little more (thus despite its tone of death and grief its moral leads one to appreciate his/her life a little more in a way preventing suicide). If you couldn't tell already by my thorough description of the show it one of my favorite anime's (along with Samurai Champloo, ugh the simplistic laid back style of the story is masterful I won't praise rant about this one just yet lol) and I believe the song choice was a perfect song for this deceptively deep anime.

I've just started watching this AMV, but before I continue, I just have to say that I really like how you used scenes from the married couple, and scenes from the younger, dating (sorta) couple, especially because both dealt with romantic love but had different outcomes. I'm getting shivers haha. Edit: Ahhhh, the timing of the music is perfect with the scenes! So many emotions.. Death Parade is just a really good anime, and you've done really, really well matching it with this song! (Also, Decim and Chiyuki were great. That ice skating edit..)

The AMV the song and how it the story went is just so amazing and it adds so much more to the actual anime story I'm literally in tears this is one of my favorite AMVs. As one of the comments said it makes you feel like completely empty inside it's so true I can and I think many can relate to that empty and addictive yet beautifully sad feeling. I'm having such a hard time finding words for this amazing work but this is something that shaked your heart brings you to tears and extremely sad makes you think God knows what but you still watch it. This is made in such a way that makes you have mixed emotions with a adrenaline rush .You chose a great anime and song to make such a beautiful edit 👏🏼👏🏼😊 just can't get enough of this amazingly emotional edit, thank you for such a beautiful edit

The only thing I didn't like about this anime is that it tried to justify cheating by saying it was only a one-time thing, no cheating's unacceptable. The whole anime is really gripping and amazing, definitely worth watching.

@@drankydrank1 At the end of 1st episode the white-haired dude (sorry I forgot his name) said that the wife did have another man in her life to that mc girl replied that maybe it was just a one-time thing and she regrets doing it. (I almost dropped the anime because of this scene, I mean it doesn't fucking matter to me if it was 1 time or multiple, or she regrets or not, cheating is cheating, she should have broken up with him first, the husband was not at fault at all because his wife did cheat after all, his suspicions were right and the show still tried to paint him in the evil light and wife in the angelic light)

Yeah…that’s the whole point, the whole point of the couple was to put in question if condemning someone to eternal damnation is really worth it over a one time mistake specially if the person feels remorse and regret afterwards and never repeat that mistake again, the point wasn’t to defend cheating or to say it’s acceptable the point of the couple and the show is that humans make mistakes that we’re flawed that’s what makes us human and that not everything is black and white, that one time mistake shouldn’t dictate our whole existence and experience in this world and the next. You can have your own opinion on cheating to each person it’s their own personal viewpoint and nothing could ever change that but I’m just saying that if we judged people only based on their mistakes then we would all hate each other because no one is perfect. I am aware that they’re fictional character but they’re supposed to represent real people out there and if you hate the character that’s fine too but if the show didn’t at least make you question if people should be punished for mistakes they made and atoned for then sadly you kinda missed the whole point of the show.

@@f_society1550 First mistake was cheating, the second was not telling his husband and it was not even confirmed by Decim whether it was a one-time thing or not, Decim stated that there was another man in her life and even his wife's friends knew about the affair god knows how long it has been going on, and when the hell did she atoned for her cheating she just cried a little and remained silent about it even when his husband became suspicious The husband must have felt way worse and cried a lot more, he is the actual victim here not the wife, but the episode was totally biased towards her, I am pretty sure more than half of the viewers didn't even catch the fact that she was indeed having an affair contemporary to getting pregnant (that's really really crazy, anyone would suspect the baby's genes) because it was not explicitly mentioned and the MCs defended her actions. Nona even said that the husband will never have a peaceful life and I kind of agree with her because he should have confronted her. But yeah I agree Characters were realistic and not "Ideal" Because nothing in our universe can be ideal
