Btw, back in the day, you started without a courier. Someone, usually a support, had to buy it and later on someone bought the winged upgrade. But the whole team tended to share one courier so there was a lot of overwriting commands from different players. In d1 days as you can expect, the one who bought it, had to be willing to share it with the team as well, otherwise it was their personal donkey and the rest of the team had to hoof it back to fountain, every time they wanted to buy something, and item wasn't available in the sideshop(which is also gone btw) for side laners.

Quick tip: when you have spells with around 300 dmg like crypt swarm, that you usually spam on creep waves, hit the range creep once, then use the spell so they don't deny you the range creep every time. This will also come natural in time, when you get angry enough with them denying you many creeps as the bracket gets harder and harder.

Well done! Ganking early is great with Death Prophet. She has a significant lead early-mid game because of her spells. Like when you were level 10-11 and Tide was still 5-6 was a great time to take advantage and widen the gap. Could have continued to gank there or top. I know it's fun to jungle in between, but actually this gave time to clinkz to farm too. Flanking top by going between towers and casting ult while slar / brew / tower are being pushed by ember spirit / kunkka is a great way to trap the opponent! As long as Death Prophet is alive, she can cast more spells / silences & her ulti continues to benefit. Timing the ult with the team against 2-3+ heroes or tower pushes is best too! The other team did well to fight together, it seemed. And their Clinkz / Panda / Slar were good enough to take the game. All good learnings! Thanks for the content!

Death Prophet was probably my favourite hero to play. Very fast, good in teamfights, easy to win mid with, good push early on, and can get super tanky lategame.

The only thing his lacking is map awareness other than that his progression is solid to above average it's insane.

considering i had an easy 200 hours only playing 5-7 heroes with my friends who tought me everything before barely knowing what to do in this game, its amazing how fast you learn. I also love the approach to try to make it up yourself, for like this you are making assumptions which are either busted, or assured. a great way to lean imo. Love the content keep going. I dont want to talk down on the chat or something, dota can be played in many different ways but as a general tip from someone who has 12k hours in dota 2 and has played a lot of dota 1 aswell, dont lstsen too much to them even if they may be right in some situations. 1st its way more fun to not always play meta or what ppl think is best. 2nd its less likely that u think about what to do or is best, rather just do what everyone does. Not that i think you need my help to know how u learn best, but maybe more so for the ppl watching you ;D btw you are doing insanely well, considering it just take some good amount of time to absorb all the information about the game. you already have a better basic understanding and execution ideas then a lot of players have after thausands of hours. Keep going, way to immortal is paved. And its just fun watching you learn and enjoy the game. Hope you wont loose your drive or fun anytime soon. I am waiting for the day u try pudge :D

I just recently found your YT channel, My friend keeps telling me stories of you years ago (ofcourse from W3) and really find your Dota 2 streams fun. Specially how you relate the skills to what was 'originally' from the warcraft franchise (technically dota 2 is derivative of custom maps dota in Warcraft game), really gives me nostalgic vibes listening to your comparisons. yes dark ranger, death prophet's silence used to be instant cast instead of a porjectile and her 3rd ability is not a drain it used to be a passive upgrading her other abilities like increasing souls on her ult

You can put runes if the bottle is full, half or 1/4 or empty. But you should use the bottle first to make sure its utilize properly. When empty get runes then click refilled full again. You can spam skills always in creeps harass better and farm better. If theyre is no runes use yung bird to get the bottle and go to the fountain and refill it and return it to the hero unlimited times and use burst in birds so the item can be delivered as soon as possible.

The moment when you bought the 2.8k item and it was delivered I looked at the minimap / watching the curier and the enemy icon making their way to you I was on the edge and then the curier died/ suspense like Jaws or Alien. Do you know you can buy at the enemy secret shop? Insted of getting the item yourself immediately you bought it with the curier and then let the poor guy deliver the item across the whole map to die. What a futlie endeavour.

Bkb was a mistake build for this episode because most of your enemies are physical damage abilities. Should have used ghost scepter instead.

Her first skill (swarm) should be targetted on the ground. The range of that skill is longer than the cast range. Edit: Also, Death Prophet and Winter Wyvern actually have a great synergy of skills. But the problem is you don't know Wyvern's skillset yet. 🤣

you still have to learn a lot. I feel you can do like 1000 things at a time when playing WC3. In Dota it seems sometimes to be too much for you to use 2 spells and activate an item at a time. Ofc you are often handicaped cause you don't know your partners or enemy's spells. Like winter wyvern or kunkka.

Grubby, death prophet may look like a very weak character, but with ulti and e, she can easily go into towers at early levels, she is weak but she has loads of regen, specially when ultimate, that's why people run away from you, you are playing too passively, you are supposed to get in the middle of everyone, she is also offlaner, specially since your abilities work even when you are stunned or disabled. But i understand your aprehension, she's like enchantress, its very counter intuitive to imagine that she can tank a lot, and she doesn't look like your average tank (big bulky character).

You needed armor and got a whole Shiva's Guard, why not just Plate Mail? That would have been just 1400 gold for 2/3 of what you wanted. I'd say the whole thing was not worth 3400 gold extra. Also, why get Power Threads? Attack speed doesn't really benefit you, instead you could have gotten Phase Boots. Which allows chasing while your life leech is active.

Grubby... builds are based on nuanced maths. What may seem like a great idea in concept won't really play out as you expect once your numbers and the numbers of your team and enemies come together. Good guides are based on experience of a certain patch. Some patches totally ruins guides. It's all about the nuanced and subtle number changes. Dota is so nuanced, tiny things matter. You need to watch patch analysis by big names if you have the time.
