This video was original filmed as a 3 part adventure in 2021 and has been remastered into this single full length movie. I plan on doing longer format videos in 2023 and would love to hear your thoughts on longer videos like this one. Thanks for watching, Brad

I love longer videos, and remastering previous episodes makes the channel and individual adventures easier to watch as we don't have to search through everything else. I'd recommend adding video chapters for each day, that way if you click off part way through a long video it's easier to pick up where you left off (KZfaq sometimes restarts a video you were part way through) Hope that is helpful

Brad the second mine you visited is chalk full of history. That stone structure was the general store. The mine was a copper mine, that I believe was called Copper bottom and was the first mine in the United States to use Pneumatic tools. A miner who lived in look out city once raped an Timbisha Shoshone woman. The men of the tribe sought for the miner and the town helped him escape down to the bottom of the mine. The result was several miners lost their lives in the retaliation and a group of soldiers from fort Tejon were called to live in Panamint for a short time to keep the peace. There are also some well known gunfights that happened in look out city. Pretty rugged place. (By the way Brad heard a great thought you would appreciate. "Save one life and your a Hero, save many lives and your just a medic" thank you again for your service)

Watch out for those burros... We had fixings for breakfast burritos and other cold foods in an ice chest. Sausage, eggs, cheese, salsa, and cold foods. We thought it would be safe...... that night they came into camp, opened up the chest and ate everything in that ice chest. Needless to say, we only had granola bars to eat that morning. Great area to explore!!

As a kid we camped out there. One night we went to sleep with a full camp. That night the wind came in and took out our tent and we jumped into our 1972 VW camper, safe and sound. In the morning there was a mostly empty camp ground. The next day was great. I wish I had more of those memories.

I knew Death Valley in the 70's. Drive to Panamint mine and Manson's bus was still at the ranch. Defense mine and many more were great in the 70's. You do a great job with the videos.

I am good watching the long format! Great trip! My wife and I spent 4 days this year in Death Valley in May... temps at night were in the 70's and the day got up to high 90's. It was a great place to see all sorts of cool things! I told her if we ever come back...I would want to do the north area for a few days! We are from Montana... so it won't be soon that we make it back down there...the worst thing about it was the fuel costs! But Panamint Springs was like 3 dollars a gallon less... so that is a great place to fuel up! Great video!

So, im guessing, based on clues in the video, that you visited during the coof restrictions of 2020? Because the hot springs were closed and the castle was still owned by Randy. The Castle is now a B&B and the owner also owns the Angles Ladies Brothel in Beatty NV, now a B&B as well. I sure miss DVNP. I hope to take my son this spring. Titus Canyon is, IMO, highly under rated. The wow factor is off the scale

I do like longer videos. But if had to choose I’d take shorter videos (your usual length) at a good cadence then have to wait a couple months for longer videos. A mixture of both would be great. I always look forward to seeing what you release because I get some remote dirt therapy by watching them. Helps to tide me over between my own adventures. Thanks for sharing your experience. I look forward to what ever you bring forward.

You must carry a weapon. Problem is, since DV became a national park in 1993 no firearms are allowed. Just pack your heat and keep your mouth shut. Better safe than sorry. Crime is EVERYEHERE today in 2022. Worry about consequences later. Being armed can save your life

@@stripervince1 if you have a valid concealed weapon permit you can carry in all parks in the US what you can't do is go into some of the facilities they have like stores. But I agree with you, Carrie keep your mouth closed and keep yourself safe I wouldn't leave home without it ever

Great Video, I only found y'all in the last few days. I live just north of Seattle and am building a 85 Blazer for re tracing some of these great WA trails. When I moved here 20 years ago, Seattle was a great mid size city that was safe. Today its one big homeless camp, trash dump and not safe. Crime is rampant and police dont care. If someone is arrested they are let go immediately, so police dont bother. But yet over 100,000 people move here every year. Traffic is gridlock on rough roads. So Seattle is not a place to visit or move to. Give me the country and back roads any day.
