He used yarn string it's literally almost invisible to the human eye. He tapes it with clear tape behind his ear then uses a little piece of wax on his fingernail puts it on the card. And when he hands the card out for examination, he scrapes the little wax he had on the card. And there you go they sell this trick at the houdini shop

14:45 -- Now that brings back some memories... A few months before I finally left county for diagnostics at ADC, we ran a big Spades tournament in the pod (1 soup buy-in with 36 to 40 people, so the winning partners would end up with about 18 to 20 soups each). My homeboy and I won the whole thing, which was pretty dope at that point since most of my funds had run out on commissary, so it basically allowed me to run a store and eat good AF for the last couple of months prior to going to prison.

I was the magician in my pod... I had groups of ppl paying soups for a show, even had the guards watching... then I would sell a few secrets and teach some tricks. I've done this exact trick that dude did, but that dude messed it up and almost gave it away. He needs to practice some more

That's awesome he made that. And that's totally DOC to charge you with whatever. Escape charges/attempted escape: after you do the rest of that sentence.... You redo your ENTIRE sentence again!! We hada dude at prison camp ( OCC in Washington) that had like 1 month left, but when his old lady came to visit, she was like ( I'm leaving you for someone else...). So he was freaking out, n jumped the fence that day. He had a 15 year sentence, then at 5 year's, u get to go to camp. So dude got caught with a quickness. Lol. I can't remember if he got out home at least or not? Hopefully he got to at least poke his ex first n grab a bag of Mickey D's!!!

When I was a kid I bought a levitating card trick in Vegas. Took a string you could barely see, stick it to the card with a bit of wax and then stick the string to your ear or forehead with the wax

I was in Whalley in New Haven CT back in 2011, they gave me a $5000 cash only bond over an argument that I had with an ex, cause I had a Massachusetts license and said I was a flight risk. The 1st 2 weeks I was in the gym, 56 dudes with only 1 shitter!!! No showers, we had to go to the dorm next door every 3 days to shower. Got moved to the dorm after 2 weeks and so many dudes had to sleep on mattresses on the floor cause it was so crowded. Finally went back to Court after a month and they dropped it to cash or bond. I was out 2 hrs later for $300. Had to spend 37 days inside over a Breach of Peace cause I had a Massachusetts license. Went back to court about a month later and it was dismissed. All that bullshit over nothin!!!!

I was on the road crew blank county texas , I decided to sneak in a couple salt packages left over from sonic inside the rim of my ball cap , normally there was no big shake down a quick lift , squat and cough but this day they searched everything found my salt and rolled me out of the trusty program and back to Gen pop. Rolled out for a salt,,, I was the laughing stock of the jail.... thank God those days are over

I’m a magician and yes the first guy is using some kind of hard to see line because that’s exactly how this trick is done. If you use some sticky on the back of the center of the card, even a booger will work, you can get it to spin like it was at first.

This happened to me when I was 17 years old and the first time I went to prison at Brevard correctional facility for 4 years. And I saw people who would find someone weak and just say he stole something knowing he really didn’t steal the soup and make him pay

That trick i done with a thread attached to the middle of the card, and to his forehead on the other end, you then get the thread between you thumb and forefinger at the webbing to control the cards movement...

I used to do a trick like it, yes there is a string but it is attacked to the shirt he put on the railing and to himself somewhere. I used to sit down at the bar and have magic string attached to a cigarette and to the pack itself. Pull the cigarette out of the pack put it in your mouth put the pack on the bar and ask someone for a dollar and cinkle the dollar on the string and magic.

I had that magic trick as a kid. You peel a skinny thread of string from yarn or something. Then wrap it around your ear and attach the other end the to center of the card with wax. Bet he used a little tooth paste or something to get it to stick down.

Very light piece of threading taped behind his ear with a small piece of white wax to the face of the card. When I was younger, bought a magic kit at Disneyland with that same exact trick. 😂

Out of everything prison related, how they improvise and use what they can to conjure resources are astounding. Even when the officers do sweeps of the cells, the prisoners are able to improvise incredible hiding spots with limited space. Communication, trading, its amazing how these individuals take advantage of the surroundings.

1:57 the string is attached to the bars and he has it in a position already overlapped on the bars where he can flip the string back around (as he does at the end) and it will come back to him, since it's already torqued he does not need to catch and reel in excess string

It'll also allow him to spin the string with his tongue by simply pushing the string up against the back of his teeth and moving his tongue back and forth would cause enough friction to get the string to spin without even touching it
