Shabir was the best here, no matter how low and disrespectful his opponent was. Every aspects raised against Quran can and was already raised by atheists and non believers. It is a mistake to reject Islam as a false religion... like some jews rejected Jesus.

@tobygeral Wow, yes he did, and so did I. Morey PWNED Ally in this debate. All Ally did was constantly change topics and attack the Bible, as opposed to directly answering Morey's objections which were raised in the debate. And it wasn't Morey who acted like a 10 year old, but Ally who kept whining like a little baby. And thank you for posting this debate since I now added it to my channel in my favorite list. :-)

The Muslims say that Ally won the debate while the Christians say that Morey won the debate. But it was plain to see that one man set up his propositions according to the debate title, while the other went off topic in many areas and did not establish his position in response. The debate may not be a sign of who is smarter, but Morey won this one nevertheless.

I watched the entire debate, Dr MOREY has proven himself to NOT be a man of intellectual integrity. For evidence check this, in reference to Moon God the speaker ALI at 1:22:09 stated “MAKKANS DID NOT WORSHIP THE MOON GOD”; but later MOREY in his address baldly misquoted and falsified ALI’s account by claiming at 1:26:32 that “ALI ADMITTED THAT MOON GOD WAS WORSHIPED IN MAKKAH”. MOREY then at 1:37:45 offered five dollars for anyone that shows MOREY misquoting or falsifying. MOREY owes everyone that views this $5 each! At 1:59:40 ALI corrects MOREY on falsifying the quote; and yes ALI as you said the tapes are available and it is plain for all to see. Well Done! SHAME on you MOREY!

According to Wikipedia of Dr. Maurey' bio, there entries stating and quote : A good deal of controversy surrounds Morey's abilities and qualifications as the pastor of Faith Community Church in Orange County, California. He has been accused of both illegal and immoral behavior. On October 2008, F.I.R.E (Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals) asked Morey to resign

In fact, I can honestly tell you that Shabir Ally, Jamal Badawi, Ahmad Deedat, and Zakir Naik have won the majority of their debates. The only time I think that Badawi and Shabir did bad was with Morey, Craig, and Labib Mikhail.

***** Jews would say the 'Christian god' is a false man-god and they reject Jesus(as) the way you slander Islam they to say same about you. Muslims only care of what God thinks about us not what jews-Christians think. We believe in Jesus(as) and all the Prophets and we fallow the Laws. And there is a day of judgement for a reason. ‘And they say, ‘None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian.’ These are their wishful beliefs. Say, ‘Produce your evidence if what you say is true!’ Nay, whosoever surrenders his whole being unto God, and is a doer of good, shall have his reward from his Lord; on them shall be no fear, neither shall they sorrow.’ (Quran 2: 111-12)

***** Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with thee unless thou follow their way of life. Say: "The Guidance of God,- that is the (only) Guidance." Wert thou to follow their desires after the knowledge which hath reached thee, then wouldst thou find neither Protector nor helper against God. QURAN 2:120 Jews-Christians have rejected God and left the Torah-Gospel and they wish Muslims would do the same. Its why only the Muslims today obey Gods laws. Prayer, fasting, no pork, circumcision, no intox, women cover hair, etc

He is a satanic liar their are Christians like James white and william craig who are more honest in debating. This evil liar Morey for example replaces the word 'thigh' in a hadith to a perverted word THAT HE KNOWS IS A CLEAR LIE. “Say: ‘Verily, those who invent a lie against God will never be successful’” [Quran 10:69]

Its shia iranian belief who like the Christians claim 'ali' is 'god' while you say Prophet Jesus(as) is 'god' and they left the Quran as you left the Gospel. As for marriages of the past it was social norm in the past their was no 'age 18' marriage even among christians. Marry her self was 12 when she concieved Jesus(as) so are you going to insult your God? And we don't slander any Prophet while christians curse the final messenger much.

@tobygeral Moreover, your comment that Morey ignored the connection with the name el and its implications tells me that you really didn't pay attention to the debate since he did address it. In fact, this again is confirmation of what Morey stated concerning Ally's straw man arguments. Even one of Shabir's quotes proved that Morey was right, since it confirmed that the Allah of the Meccans started out as a pagan deity which Muhammad then transformed into the one true God of all.

Islam confesses that Jesus was "the Christ" ("al-Maseeh" in Arabic), which means that he was God's special anointed one (it *doesn't* mean that he is God Himself; it means he is God's anointed). Islam also believes that Jesus was a human Prophet who came and existed in human flesh. So by the biblical criteria given above, Islam is not anti-Christ, but pro-Christ. Those people whoever that teach something that Christ did not teach (eg. the Trinity) can truly be called anti-Christ.

How odd if Muhammad (peace be upon him) wished for people to worship the moon, and yet he recited the following verse of the Qur'an: "Do NOT worship the sun or the moon, but worship Allah (God) Who created them." (Qur'an 41:37). The above verse will be used as evidence against you on the Day of Judgement. Be prepared to defend your lies against Islam when you meet your Maker. Good luck explaining that verse!

Armando Santos Christians also believe Allah has no Children. Christians believe God became a man in the form of Jesus to teach us how to get into heaven. Jesus referred to himself as a son so it would make sense for us. Jesus numerously indicated him and the Father were one - no son.

LiftedX No. Christian believe We are his children. both NT AND OT. and Jesus is son of God before even the creation of earth he had eternal relationship with father. thats why Christians believe his son of God. Jesus is one with the Father because his God. one God Yahweh can be in three persons. i mean look at Mark 14:62 priest ask him are you son of blessed one Jesus replied “I am, said Jesus, “and you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power and coming with the clouds of heaven.” So God does have Children and Jesus is son of God Isaiah 63:16 says our Father that Yahweh is our father. so no what you said is every thing wrong. the Idea Allah has no Children is from Islamic beliefs only

Armando Santos Sounds like you are pushing Jewish mysticism to me. Here is Jesus claiming he was God in the Flesh: "I and the Father are One." "Before Abraham was, I am" "From now on, you do know him and have seen him!" "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?" Then Paul: "you must worship Christ as Lord of your life." Yahweh is the Jewish interpretation of God. Jesus is the correct representation of God. God of Jesus: "God is love." (1 John 4:16) Yahweh: "Kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man" (Num. 31:17) God of Jesus: "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me." (Mark 9:37) Yahweh: "Put to death men and women, children and infants" (1 Sam. 15:2-3) The Jewish God and Allah are very similar. The God of Christians is not. Are you sure you are worshiping the correct God?

Robert Morey, the deceitful one...playing with words and telling such lies, misquoting ( giving false information) and then saying "I quoted what was actually in the book" how childish, like how a child would justify a lie...He was proved wrong, the whole debate can be disproved with the one verse by Mr Ally where the Qur'an forbids worship of any one or any thing besides Allah!
@banaresali
@banaresali 10 жыл бұрын
Bob Edgar Lol, of course when you "compare and assume the Bible is correct 100%) as obviously you do, then in your opinion, the Qu'ran would "disprove" itself. Unfortunately my fellow internet interneter, this not the method one uses to validate a text or source of information...You have to read the text in question and scrutinize it for its claims and authenticity... The Qur'an is telling us clearly that Isaah (Jesus) was not crusified. Personaly I would be quite shocked that "God" could be killed, or God's Son would be killed in such a manner....It just does not make any sense at all...You do know that there is not a single verse anywhere in the Bible, where you hear Jesus (pbuh) HIMSELF claiming to be God or the Son of God ( authubilla- I seek refuge in God)..on the contrary, I read Jesus fell to the ground in prostration, His head on the floor and "prayed" to..err God? do you want to explain this? and when He is addressed as being Good, he replies by saying no one is good but the Lord..so whats going on here??? The whole thing makes no sense and seriously confuses the reader...the only way around this is to "ignore" these verses.

Victor Constantin Try to read this and see if your Christianity today was not charted through a course of man-made doctrine... TUESDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2006 What Really happened at Nicea? The Players Alexander of Alexandria: Bishop of Alexandria. Said Christ was the 'same substance' as the Father. Convened a council of bishops from Egypt and Libya to anathematize Arius and excommunicate him and his followers. Athanasius: served as a deacon at the Council of Nicaea. He was strongly opposed to Arianism. He helped the Council decide against Arianism, and was later exiled. Constantine: Emperor of Rome. He called the Council of Nicaea to settle the dispute over Arianism. He was the Emperor who recognized Christianity as a legal religion and later tried to make it the state religion. Eusubius, Bishop of Nicomedia and a supporter of Arius, would later baptize Constantine. Contrary to popular Christian myth, Constantine was a pagan and was baptized on his deathbed. He also never really made Christianity a state religion because Christians couldn't even agree on anything. The power grab of the pagan Trinitarians would be completed after his death. From Brittanica.com, "In his theological interpretation of the idea of God, Arius was interested in maintaining a formal understanding of the oneness of God. In defense of the oneness of God, he was obliged to dispute the sameness of essence of the Son and the Holy Spirit with God the Father, as stressed by the theologians of the Neoplatonic influenced Alexandrian school. From the outset, the controversy between both parties took place upon the common basis of the Napoleonic concept of substance, which was foreign to the New Testament itself. It is no wonder that the continuation of the dispute on the basis of the metaphysics of substance likewise led to concepts that have no foundation in the New Testament--such as the question of the sameness of essence (homoousia) or similarity of essence (homoiousia) of the divine persons." It was 325 A.D. at Nicaea that the doctrine of the Trinity was rammed through by Athanasius (using Mafia tactics) in a Council that was overseen by the Emperor Constantine who, ironically enough, thought of himself as God-incarnate. (Constantine was a Sun Worshiper and only made an official conversion to "Christianity" on his deathbed). Roman coins of the period still portrayed the image of the sun God despite the alleged sudden adoption/conversion of Christianity. Many of those present at the Council Of Nicaea were opposed the doctrine of the Trinity, siding with Arius. Even after the Nicene Creed, the Trinity was still hotly debated for decades and centuries after. A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CHURCH AFTER NICAEA 325 AD - Constantine convenes the Council of Nicaea in order to develop a statement of faith that can unify the church. The Nicene Creed is written, declaring that "the Father and the Son are of the same substance" (homoousios). Emperor Constantine who was also the high priest of the pagan religion of the Unconquered Sun presided over this council. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica: "Constantine himself presided, actively guiding the discussions and personally proposed the crucial formula expressing the relationship of Christ to God in the creed issued by the council, `of one substance with the Father'." Quoting Bruce L. Shelley, a writer for Christian History, we read: "The Council of Nicea, (was) summoned by Emperor Constantine and held in the imperial palace under his auspices. Constantine viewed the Arian teachings-that Jesus was a created being subordinate to God-as an ‘insignificant’ theological matter. But he wanted peace in the empire he had just united through force. When diplomatic letters failed to solve the dispute, he convened around 220 bishops, who met for two months to hammer out a universally acceptable definition of Jesus Christ. "The expression homo ousion, ‘one substance,’ was probably introduced by Bishop Hosius of Cordova (in today’s Spain). Since he had great influence with Constantine, the imperial weight was thrown to that side of the scales. . . . As it turned out, however, Nicea alone settled little. For the next century the Nicene and the Arian views of Christ battled for supremacy. First Constantine and then his successors stepped in again and again to banish this churchman or exile that one. Control of church offices too often depended on control of the emperor’s favor." The American Academic Encyclopedia states: "Although this was not Constantine's first attempt to reconcile factions in Christianity, it was the first time he had used the imperial office to IMPOSE a settlement." "The Emperor Constantine himself is said frequently to have appeared without his imperial state, and, with neither guards nor officers around him, to have mingled in the debate, and expressed his satisfaction at their unanimity, whenever that rare virtue adorned their counsels. For Constantine, though he could give protection, could not give peace to Christianity. . . . Momentous questions, which, up to that time, had been entirely left to a small intellectual aristocracy, had been calmly debated in the villa of the Roman senator or the grove sacred to philosophy, or discussed by sophists whose frigid dialectics wearied without exciting the mind, had been gradually brought down to the common apprehension. The nature of the Deity; the state of the soul after death; the equality of mankind in the sight of the Deity -- even questions which are beyond the verge of human intellect; the origin of evil; the connexion of the physical and moral world had become general topics; they were, for the first time, the primary truths of a popular religion, and naturally could not withdraw themselves from the alliance with popular passions. . . . The first civil wars which divided Christianity were those of Donatism and the Trinitarian controversy." --History of Christianity, vol. ii., pp. 295, 296. At the end of this council, Constantine sided with Athanasius over Arius and exiled Arius to Illyria. 328 AD - Athanasius becomes bishop of Alexandria. 328 AD - Constantine recalls Arius from Illyria. 335 AD - Constantine now sides with Arius and exiles Athanasius to Trier. 337 AD - A new emperor, Contantius, orders the return of Athanasius to Alexandria. 339 AD - Athanasius flees Alexandria in anticipation of being expelled. 341 AD - Two councils are held in Antioch this year. During this council, the First, Second, and Third Arian Confessions are written, thereby beginning the attempt to produce a formal doctrine of faith to oppose the Nicene Creed. 343 AD - At the Council of Sardica, Eastern Bishops demand the removal of Athanasius. 346 AD - Athanasius is restored to Alexandria. 351 AD - A second anti - Nicene council is held in Sirmium. 353 AD - A council is held at Aries during Autumn that is directed against Athanasius. 355 AD - A council is held in Milan. Athanasius is again condemned. 356 AD - Athanasius is deposed on February 8th, beginning his third exile. 357 AD - Third Council of Sirmium is convened. Both homoousios and homoiousios are avoided as unbiblical, and it is agreed that the Father is greater than His subordinate Son. 359 AD - The Synod of Seleucia is held which affirms that Christ is "like the Father," It does not however, specify how the Son is like the Father. 361 AD - A council is held in Antioch to affirm Arius' positions. 380 AD - Emperor Theodosius the Great declares Christianity the official state religion of the empire. 381 AD - The First Council of Constantinople is held to review the controversy since Nicaea. Emperor Theodosius the Great establishes the creed of Nicaea as the standard for his realm. The Nicene Creed is re-evaluated and accepted with the addition of clauses on the Holy Spirit and other matters. If Nicaea just formalized the prevalent teaching of the church, then why all the conflicts? If it were the established teaching of the church, then you would expect people to either accept it, or not be Christians. It was not the established teaching, and when some faction of the church tried to make it official, the result was major conflict. It was a theological power grab by a faction of the church. A major complication throughout all this was that the emperors were involved and directed the outcome. At Nicaea it was Constantine that decided the outcome. Then we have the flip-flopping of opinion with the result that Athanasius is exiled and recalled depending on who is in power. In 357 AD the declaration that homoousios and homoiousios are unbiblical, and that the Father is greater than His subordinate Son. This is 180 degrees from Nicaea. In 380 AD Emperor Thedosius declares Christianity the state religion. One can come to the conclusion that whichever way Theodosius favors, that is the way in which it is going to end. This is exactly what happened next. In 381 AD the struggle was finally ended by the current emperor, Theodosius the Great, who favored the Nicene position. Just like at Nicaea, the EMPEROR again decided it. The emperors were dictating the theology of the church. Gibbon observes, in his Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, chap. xxvii., that: "Theodosius declared his resolution of expelling, from all churches in his dominions, the bishops and their clergy who should obstinately refuse to believe, or at least to profess, the doctrine of the Council of Nice. His lieutenant Sapor was armed with the ample powers of a general law, a special commission, and a military force. . . . In the space of fifteen years, Theodosius promulgated at least fifteen severe edicts against the heretics; more especially against those who rejected the doctrine of the Trinity; and to deprive them of every hope of escape, he sternly enacted that, if any laws or rescripts should be alleged in their favour, the judges should consider them as the illegal productions of either fraud or forgery."

Victor Constantin I cited you above the expose' on how the doctrine of trinity developed in early years of Christianity which I'm sure you don't totally agree if you are a Jehova's witness... However, sad it may seem, yet you must ask yourself, where did you derive your bible translation from? If you are Jehova's witness, I'm sure you know of the concept of paradise, witnessing, and unbelief in crucifixion... Do you know why your doctrine is so different than most Christian denominations? Because your founder got his idea from ISLAM but unable to follow the rules of ISLAM, so Christianity offers the most convenient exit for him... I guess, there are many things you need to unwind for yourself because the thread your trying to pull never hurt me at any point, instead it will choke you if you continue to pull the thread down...Salam!

Charles D al quran written in al qitab, are they the same? the speaker and the words spoken, are they the same? But i won‘t wonder because you.guys love confusion... Just like in the book of John, "in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God..." What if we replace God with another common name like, "in the beginning was a mooooo, and the moooo was with cow, and the mooo was cow". Get all logicians in the world and let them judge with all sanity. The problem with you people is that, take back if you have the original because it is sane to translate it uf you like in this manner, "in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God's". Now does that makes sense people?

Which history book other than your Bible can you read that? Otherwise, I can conclude you're one of the liars out there.... Second, I'm not so certain with Haman as far as history is concerned. But your conclusion is doubtful for me. But I gave you the benefit of the doubt, GIVE ME YOUR REFERENCE, which could support your claim that Haman was never in Egypt. @tobygeral So please understand this difference. If another Muslim was reading a Qur'an which omitted 7 surahs that are found in my Qur'an, that would be a different VERSION of the Qur'an. But that is not the case. It is however the case with the Bible. The various canons of the Bible that I mentioned have DIFFERENT BOOKS and different PASSAGES. Big difference.

Yes, it's an undeniable fact that before Muhammad, the pagan Arabs still believed in God (Allah) but they also falsely attributed daughters to Him. So they believed that God had daughters. The Qur'an and the Prophet Muhammad then taught the Arabs that, no, God has no sons or daughters or brothers or sisters. Read Acts 17:16-34 very carefully and see how Paul does the same thing with the "unknown god" of the Athenians.

It seems easy to fall at Jesus’ feet and call Him “God” than it is to use the Jewish Holy Scriptures to deny His Divinity. We must understand that the Old Testament is the Jewish Holy Book, and the New Testament is the Christian Holy Book. In the Jewish Holy Book of Zechariah 12:10 the God of Abraham and of Moses speaks: “…And I will pour upon…the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace…and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced (nailed)…”

If someone posted vulgarity about God or His Messenger in the comments section of one of my uploaded videos or on my channel profile, I would simply delete it. I would not respond to vulgarity with more vulgarity. It's very simple. This is the advice I have for you, as well as for my fellow Muslim ikhwaan.

interestingly the good Doctor overlooks the fact that Progressive Revelations...are brought to us by Messengers of the Divine...and there have been many! These Revelations come to us mortals (here in the exile of Earth) when we seemingly "need them most". The Buddha...told us "Do not harm" other Messengers, often repeated the same adivice to us.over and over again....as in Jesus and finally Mohammed (pbuh) The book Old Testament with Moses, is now closed, forever..... ditto for the New Testament, which is permanently closed with Jesus.... Jews & Christians are still in waiting for something to happen....pity that they missed the whole idea of Progressive Revelation...where upon Allah (swt) had more to tell us, a message, appropriate for our needs & times, through His final messenger Mohammed (pbuh) It is suffice to say, that our Creator....does, indeed, repeat Himself....through His prophets, as a reminder of what His creations may require (as in children requiring frequent reminders of their behavior) So mote it be! humbly, Observer Jules

@EchadinYah That would make for a very strong argument against a Jew, not against a Muslim. As a Muslim, I totally acknowledge Jesus as a special brand of creation, a unique agent of God, and hence I am not surprised that God has exalted his status and memory in the minds of humankind. Unfortunately, the exaggerated and extreme claims made about him by Christians were, on the whole, untenable, and have actually led millions of people to *disbelieve* in Jesus by becoming agnostics and atheist

The logic behind the question is false. It's like me asking, "How can God take life? That is the exact opposite of what God did in the first place-- CREATE life. How can be both create *and* take away life?" Similarly, the Qur'an contradicting the Bible does not prove the Qur'an false. It could be that the Bible (or parts of it) are false. Although your comment was completely irrelevant to the topic of the video, I still approved it, this time.

It concludes that, whether the Qur'an is Divinely-revealed or man-made, *it does not advocate moon worship or the worship of a moon-god.* I am often surprised at the hollow intellectualism of agnostics or atheists like you. What made you think this debate was about whether the Qur'an is from God or not? Understand the debate topic first, then comment.

So either the Protestants changed the Bible by taking something out, or the Catholics changed the Bible by adding something in. Please don't tell me that the Bible being changed is a Muslim conspiracy theory. It is mainstream biblical scholarship. Please read "Forged" and "The Orthodox Corruption of Scripture" by Bart Ehrman. A crescent ornament, in the bible, is interesting. So, when people have symbols which have nothing to do with basic teachings in their religion, it means what? nothing. :) Lots of christians wear tshirts with pictures of well known figures, or cartoon characters today, this is comparable in our age to what people in the past did with ornaments or other things, like designs on carpets which were popular and reflect the era in which they were produced.PPL don't worship the symbols, except the t.

Some people believe that the Pharaoh during the time of Moses was Rameses II, while others believe it was Merenptah. Either way, NEITHER PHAROAH'S BODY WAS FOUND BY THE 7TH CENTURY. The mummified remains of both of these Pharaohs were found much closer to our time. Also, it is not at all "obvious" that the Pharaoh's body should be preserved, especially since he had perished in the sea. Nonetheless, the Qur'an says that his body was saved, and indeed it was.

@EchadinYah Strange how you left out the word "ELOH" (the first word used refer to God in the entire Bible-- ELOH-im), but nevermind. There is a difference between a "translation" and a "version". There is one version of the Arabic Qur'an, but different translations in English. In the case of the Bible, however, THERE IS NOT ONE KOINE GREEK VERSION of the New Testament. There are 50 000 Greek manuscripts that disagree with each other.

I think Eli is trying to point out that, even if you look at the gospels, you see a picture of a prophet-man crying out to God (not a God-Man crying out to Himself). For Christians, Jesus' last words on the cross are a particular problem, since the gospels have different versions of what Jesus said. According to Matthew, he said what you say he said ("Eli" or "My El"), but according to Mark 15:34, he cried out "ELO-I, ELO-I", which means "My ELOH, my ELOH". "Eloh" of course is a Hebrew word

A good deal of controversy surrounds Morey's abilities and qualifications as the pastor of Faith Community Church in Orange County, California. He has been accused of both illegal and immoral behavior. In October 2008, F.I.R.E (Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals) asked Morey to resign. They stated that Morey abused his pastoral authority, badly mistreated a good number of his supporters, and he refused to meet with the F.I.R.E. board to discuss these issues. Faith Defenders notified "all who were blessed by Dr. Bob" that the final meeting of Faith Community Church will happen on March 1, 2009. "Dr. Bob will have available for sale, all of his books for your purchase and his personal autograph." There have also been allegations of sexual harassment claims made by a number of female members of his congregation against Morey which to this day have gone unanswered.
