It is unfair debate because of the gap between both speakers. Mr.Shabir Ally could not involved as usuall in the dialouge with David because of his health and also the moderator. They looked to David as a person who need some merciful and should not be annoyed. However, it is very clear what Mr. Shabir had concluted about the violence. I think the audience there have thought many times about what Mr.Shabir said. May Allah guide them and us Ameen.

I think its hard to say "who won" as this debate is broken up and contains duplication and omission. That is a real pity. I was so interested that I downloaded it to burn to DVD. However I won't bother because its incomplete.

Maybe you can give Constantine hedge-way and support his actions with a Scriptural reference from the New Testament? Can you do this? You cannot. I'm less interested in comparing the body count of the two religions than I am in hearing evidence for a supernatural deity... Then again, discussing specific voices in both islamic and christian texts makes for good discussion...well, when they can move past the circular reasoning and start applying evidence.

Nazam, I'd like to know why you feel it's necessary to pre approve every single comment? If someone is posting abusive or hateful comments why not remove their comments as they appear, or block them if they persist. Shabir Ally did not answer the witnesses question properly... In reality none of the bible writers were present at the time of crucifixion .. All they got was hear say .. outside of bible there are only two accounts of crucifixion and none of those two were present at the time. Go to actual greek bible .. Compare islam with Christianity and not with Judaism regarding violence.

Quran is as big as New Testament but Shabbir never dares to compare Quran with New Testament regarding peace and violence. He always quotes from Old Testament which is before Christianity.

The fact is, though the Bible was written by a number of writers, written in various languages and time, they all agreed about the coming Christ, that is Jesus. The smallest detail was even foretold when the Roman soldier gambled upon his clothes and it happened. Jesus Christ died because He gave up his Spirit because He couldn't die unless He did it.
