As the video played, I tried to count the number of shopping carts I saw. People are using these as mobile transport systems, yet they still belong to the stores. Target RVs units. Stollen? Would the homeless situation disappear if the stores retrieved all their carts? Home depot and other stores have systems in place that lock up the wheels if the carts are removed from the store. WE are saddened by the situation but handouts and enabling programs always make the situation worse.

Regular stores should do what Aldi does - have people pay for a cart, then get their quarter returned.

I'm a native of Albuquerque, but have now lived many years in Tokyo, Japan. Currently, Albuquerque has a population of nearly 600,000, while here in Tokyo we have 14,000,000 people. Albuquerque has 1300 homeless (so they say), Tokyo has 700 or so. Japan's secret to keeping homelessness and crime low is pretty simple, they do it by keeping drugs out of society.

When I see all those shopping carts , I feel as though the ones who are pushing them have lost all hope and are very content and have made peace with the idea that this is how they will be living forever . For the rest of their lives . They know that they can go to a Shelter , but refuse to go because of the rules put in place. No Drugs . No Smoking. No misconduct of any kind . Homeless will continue to grow. Most suffer from mental illness . They are unpredictable . What's the solution . Dropping them all off in the middle of the desert 🏜️?

The reality of it is, the majority of the people commenting against the homeless calling them addicts are just as addicted to drugs and painkillers as a homeless person is. You feel the same panic when your prescription starts to run low. You act like you have to take so many because you are in so much pain. You would panic and lose your shit if your doctor cut you off and stopped your prescription. Also, the sight of homeless people to is a constant reminder that most of you are only one or two paychecks away from being homeless yourselves and if it wasn't for a certain person in your life, you would be. Some of you jump around from man to man because you can't take care of yourselves and would otherwise be homeless yourself. So quit acting like you all are high and mighty and the homeless and just second class non worthy citizens. Jesus said, feed the homeless and clothe the naked. He didn't say to brag about it or complain about it. He didn't say to push them away out of sight and out of mind. Lumping all homeless into one category such as lazy addicts is ignorant. You have to understand homelessness in order to combat it. Pushing them all away is stupid and fixes nothing. Just like cutting off a foot doesn't cure diabetes. Yet, I don't see any diabetics telling their doctor just to cut off the whole leg and be done with it. Homelessness is a more serious issue but is very easy to solve if the people would quit complaining and leave politics out of it and just let the right things be done. But we have week leaders who cave in to the demands of homewreckers with their politically correctness instead of just taking charge doing what needs to be done. The people vote for the popular person because it's always a popularity contest, and then the elected official doesn't want to lose his or her popularity and caves in, so we go around in circles and the same problems remain year after year and nothing ever gets done and the tax dollars get wasted on some other worthless crap that most citizens will never benefit from. That's what 2.4hz of television and internet programming does. The patent on the 2.4hz thing says that is exactly what it does. All while the elite drain your bank accounts and double and triple their billions because you all are programmed into this hypnotic spell to go along with the program and obey and comply or else. So there is bit of real woke reality for ya. Do with it what you will.

Put the able homeless to work. Find the disabled shelter and heat. Bus the remainder out of town on a daily basis. By the time they return the kids will already be in school and the workers will be safely indoors.
