Kawhi when healthy is one of the best players in the world, but that Toronto championship he wasn't even 100%, but was the most healthy he has been since 2016 and that says a lot. JKidd deserved the criticism. Even after the trade, there was a phase where the Mavs lost 5 of its 6 games because he refuses to use Gafford, remember? Gafford playing 6 minutes in several of those games? Fans were so infuriated because we saw how the Mavs beat the Thunder by 33 points(!!!) when Washington and Gafford played. When the criticism grew louder, he placed Gafford in the starting lineup and the Mavs started winning again. And then, he started talking "Luka is the best player in the world, etc etc (sucking up?)." I mean why does he even have to say that, we Mavs fans do not need to be told that. And then after winning several games, he says "I wish to get an extension (of his contract)?" Seriously. Still not convinced.

This was 6 years ago. Now Don kisses his ass as Harden is now being used to market this godforsaken franchise. Clippers are stupid the moment they traded Shai for Paul George and because Kawhi wanted PG-13%. Clippers could’ve drafted Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Michael Porter Jr. in that 2018 draft. Now SGA is an MVP candidate on a No. 1 seed and MPJ is a champion. What has Paul George done for us except being injured a lot like Kawhi. Series is over. Dallas wins Game 1 or 2. Wins both in Dallas. Wins Game 5 in LA. My Clippers are too old and injury-prone. Dallas are the 3rd best team in the West behind Denver and Lakers at reaching the Finals. Kawhi, PG, and Harden would’ve been decent in 2019 but not in 2024. Clippers tried doing the 2004, 2013, and 2022 Lakers chasing for older stars who are already washed. Harden from 2018 is not coming back, okay? He’s washed. Sometimes he gives us 15-20 points and sometimes only 6 or 8. Nuggets repeat but if Lakers do upset them, then Lakers are winning it all. I should have parlays with Sierra Leone, Fierceness, Stronghold, and Resilience with four NBA teams: Nuggets, Lakers, Celtics, and Sixers. The Sixers will beat the Knicks and Bucks and we will get an ECF of Boston vs. Philly. Philly can upset but only IF Embiid is healthy. They have the best player in that series. Those Clippers have skill or athleticism, but they don’t have those winning intangibles like Batum. The ones who win rings play intelligently and efficiently and those three don’t have that. Rodman was not a skilled player but he knew how to win better than most stars today who have way more skill than he did. Every bricked shot is a loss of a possession. You can’t be inefficient with each possession. Rodman played the game by doing all the dirty work that MJ and Scottie didn’t do. Ty Lue is becoming as overrated as Doc Rivers. What genius *midget* lineup will he be stirring up that has the media blindly praise him this time? Another 1st round exit by my Clippers. We’ll be fishing by May 1st. I find it remarkablyv ironic that a gentleman who couldn't complete one college game, for injury , and never returned to a basketball court can be as tone deaf, not to cocede logic that these are professional athletes who pound their bodies for an entire professional season. What does his ability or inability to play basketball have a damn thing to do with the fragility of Kawhi Leonard? EVERY YEAR past the Raptors championship, the man either misses the regular season, or the playoffs of a particular year. To not acknowledge that Leonard is never available when the Clippers need it, would be pure delusion. Especially considering he just signed a freaking three-year extension. You don't need to be a player to know this.
