As someone who has studied anarchism, I really appreciate Bookchin's ideas. I'm libertarian and am probably closest to mutualism with cooperatives, but I can see some good with municipalism as well.

What Ideas are those because what she said here was that she wants free health care and that would be contracting directly with the government from the top down!

I think she was referencing social democrats or democratic socialists. If a communalist society wanted to have free healthcare it wouldn't use a centralized state but medicine and doctors would be done through cooperative and voluntary relations. Perhaps every community has one doctor or the hospitals from the old society are kept and people travel to them. Instead of paying for the service the system would work on a moral basis. Most doctors become doctors because they want to help people. By having a doctor in a communalist society the incentive to do work is driven by the fact that if you do work you earn the right and respect of your community to take what you nees from the community. Given these kind of communities do work simply for the purpose of allowing individuals a place to stay and eat. All work is democratized and voluntary.

@@tristanwiren407 hold on. most PHYSICIANS do NOT become physicians to "help people". pretty much every profession does that. they chose to become glorified drug dealers because their egos need praise from cattlepeople. they NEED the power and can't bear the thought of not being called DoCCcCTToooRRR. that's also why the work so much. because at work is where they can wear the WHITE COAT and be revered. they wish desperately that they could wear it to the library and the grocery store. lol. well, that title means less and less every day. i personally am my own obstetrician (currently :) and do a better job at it. *there's* your "free healthcare"! :) healthcare ... isn't free. wanna know what happens under socialized medical? look at cuba. look at spain. all the talent leaves to find work in other countries that will actually compensate them fairly. and us-ians comprise about 10% of the world's medical tourism. they often have ins, but go to freer markets to get care because it's far cheaper and *much* better quality.

What is wrong with being alone? I am more comfortable alone than in crowds.

Some ppl kill themselves without positive social interaction. We can speak- we’re social things. But if you need minimal interaction that’s fine, just make sure you get what you need

i also enjoy being alone, but you can never be completely alone in the world, otherwise you'd starve or die of disease. we'll always need people to help us along somewhere down the line, no matter how much we like to go solo.

You say you aspire to freedom? That your biggest goal is to be "free"? But then in ALMOST THE VERY SAME BREATH you say you want "Free healthcare, free education etc??? Do you know that as soon as you ACCEPT those very GOVERNMENT BENEFITS YOU AR CONTRACTING WITH AND CONSENTING TO FEDERAL GOVERNMENT JURISDICTION where INALIENABLE RIGHTS,,,(the very things that make you free from the arbitrary encroachment of government upon all your freedoms),, ARE FORFEIT AND EXCHANGED WITH CIVIL RIGHTS THAT CAN BE REMOVED AT ANY TIME BY ANY MUNICIPAL JUDGE OR COP or State or Federal agency! Contracting with the Federal Government is Not a very "bottom up" way to organize your life!

I dont think they were referring to government (the centralized state) she brought up the concept of dual power where essentially in a libertarian municpal society or communalist society. The people slowly build infrastructure and means of subsistence and government structures outside of the current economic and governmental superstructures so that the Centralized state and the Capitalist economy becomes irrevelant because people will flock to the more democratic systems and institutions made by the community instead of enabling the state. People aren't actually going to meet in the same local government structures they are against they will have to make their own community based political structures so that all the several communities confederate themselves.

@FakeNews " If your alternative is just I hate the government so much that I want everyone to be sick and die from simple infections," holy moly, you understand absolutely *nothing*. the alternative is a free market where PORTFOLIO is what matters.. not degrees or licenses or other purchase-able nonsense. a free market where everyone can fairly easily become wealthy and have no problem paying for med care... which is currently insanely inflated in cost thanks to govt involvement. really, in anarchy, pretty much everyone would know how to suture, do basic blood tests, make and interpret slides, and most other basic med procedures. this would happen because we have more time and our priorities are straight. we see the huge value in educating ourselves, there is no one guarding and gatekeeping the resources to do so, and being brave enough to pick up the tools and PRACTICE. yes, strong, courageous, capable individuals HATE, DESPISE, and LOATHE thugs who steal from us and our children's futures. 100%. all day long.

@@tristanwiren407government does not always refer too a centralized state you seem confused about the concept of a government in a communialist society, confederal can mean a weak state that provides a framework for local communities too democratically and safely make decisions, you are advocating for democratic confederalism
