December is my favorite month to be in Rome. Everything good about Rome with out the overcrowds. Let's face in Rome is over touristed most months and for a brief period you can enjoy Rome like a Roman. You will not spend all your time in lines, in fact there are no lines in December. Visit the best restaurants & sights with no waiting. Temperatures are mild but not too cold and rain is minimal. Don't be afraid to visit Rome in December, it is GREAT!
