Dechroming the Mini Cooper S F55 F56

Today we dechrome 90% of the car, rear tail lights surrounds, headlight surrounds, door handles, grille surround and petrol cap cover!

Eva was great...but now I understand why they say “don’t work with children or animals”....took 5 times as long and admittedly, is not my best editing work. But we had fun and I guess that’s all that matters.

Looks great, I have a midnight black F55 but chose to buy the official products from Mini. I just haven’t got round to doing it yet. LOL

Hey fella Are the adhesive trims good? Do they stick well and wash well?

Alright mate, enjoying the content so far! The parts have been on a few weeks now does the adhesive do the job on keeping these on? Especially against a power washer? Cheers

Hey. I’ve washed mine loads since putting them on and they are all still solid - not budging mate. Hope that helps.

What’s it like now still okay? I’m thinking of buying these as don’t want the hassle of having to remove the trim and break clips etc. does it stick out much, and do you think they would be removed easily ‘eg when I sell the car etc…?

Looks miles better now, hopefully I will be getting an f56 soon but the one I’m looking at already has the light surrounds done so it saves me a job 😂 loving the vids as well, keep ‘em coming 👍🏻

The black looks great. I like the idea of red for the front strip, but it might be too much. What about black with a quarter inch strip of red?

Their prices are insane. They want me to pay 100€ for a stick on grill cover when I can buy a OEM replacement Grill from BMW for 50€. Even if you'd buy it off of ebay you'd only pay between 55-80€. No thanks!
