Not even the wiki has this information!

I've just realized, this wad is full of echoes of other wads like Plutonia 1, Doom or Doom II. And it's not like in a copying way but rather in a remix way and I love it. It's just a ton of hidden easter eggs. When you realize: Hey this is E1M1 and hey that's Map01 and so on. Beautiful!

I love how just like the original GO2IT was a remixed version of Map01 from Doom 2, this combines both E1M1 and Map01 to create something familiar, yet different. Fantastic.

15:52 In most versions of the WAD I've seen, the SSNazis and the Archvile weren't spaced properly, so the intended ghost monster trap doesn't happen; all the SSNazis just stay crushed and the Archvile does too. I'm glad I can finally see a patched version of it in action

I always imagine doom players back in 1994 watching this and being amazed. This would be impossible for those majority of players that used keyboard only back then.

Honestly, every hard Doom map will be a disappointment to watch after decino died 60 times playing Maelstrom from Sunlust. The damage it did to his psyche is unmatchable.

Those 2 years of doom certainly have proven to be put to good use.

You make this look so easy oO While Go 2 It placed Arch Viles and Cyber Demons strategic, Go 4 It shits on it and just hammers it home. This map is a beast. And the final room will hunt you in your nightmares.

This map didn't impress me as much as go-to-it, but I think that's because that map was the most impressive, by a large margin, I had ever seen up to that point, okuplok and nuts series aside. Go-to-it I think had 17 cyberdemons, vs doom 64's map 29's 3... Awesome job as always.

Ayy I was just watching Map 15 and 31, then this came out. Thank you, based ducino.

In Episode 1, the bosses were two Barons of Hell, who became normal monsters in episodes 2 and 3, with the Cyberdemon and Spider Mastermind capping off those epsiodes. By the time we reach Plutonia 2, it seems Cyberdemons are as regular as any other demon.

Wow, this map makes Go 2 It look like a piece of cake LOL, but it is incredibly funny. Interesting fact with me was that I struggled more with the archviles than the cyberdemons because while the latter helped me killing the enemies, the former brought them back to life and gave me more work to rekill them (LOL again). Also, the great music remix quite pushes you to go 4 it and join the whole party... and thank you Decino for showing how to kill the SS ghosts, I hadn't figured it out until I saw this video.

15:40 Gotta love the science of Doom. If an Archvile resurrects a crushed enemy, a ghost enemy that can walk through walls is created, which is also immune to everything except splash damage, i.e, explosions. You would think a ghost would get killed by either something mystical, like an ancient weapon, or something really advanced (Ghostbusters comes to mind.) But nope, it's explosions, simple and current tech.

I hope you see this decino, I have been watching for a few months and then went to watch your back logged videos i haven't. So much information which i had a inkling about but being confirmed is good but i always thought i was good at vanilla doom and gzdoom(with aim) but fast monsters hoo boy. A new challenge. Never thought of doing it till you mentioned it. It makes me ration my ammo and health/armor more. Especially in episode 2 cause of the lack of shotgun ammo in the first few maps. I actually died once cause of map in episode 2 a turbo pinky snuck up on me in the crusher hallway map in episode 2. I forgot which one that is. Its the map with all the boxes, imps and berserk pack. The one that has if you play co op you are separated

Lol I'm just now playing this map for the first time and after all my Doom travels with really hard maps, this one might be the one I never bother to complete without saves. I can get through it for the most part without dying but this ending part, jesus. It really is pretty brutal and just from my save/loading attempts there, a lot of it comes down to luck. Running along the raised platforms at the end, it can be blocked by enemies many times, and your health just gets wrecked so fast with all the enemies around that you only get one or two chances to make the run into the portal. A few other parts I've had trouble with too but you can learn the locations where the archviles come from and pre-empt them by running there fast and BFG them before they can do much resurrecting. But yeah this map, trying to get it in one go is just no fun lol. I think I will skip trying. Thanks for having a good play of this on youtube decino!
