Enjoy Smashing your opponents will will scion of peace. This deck is honestly pretty competitive for a budget brew and can do some broken stuff once you get a life gain spell off! Will is a commander from the wilds of eldraine magic the gathering standard set. An edh deck tech for the commander format.

This commander is one of the things I love about commander format: theres never a bad card, there only a card that doesnt have a commander, *yet.*

I know right? Like there's commanders that make stuff like Ovinomancer, Tel-Jilad Stylus and Wall of Blood playable. That's freaking hilarious. (Mairsil the Pretender, Grenzo Dungeon Warden and Greven Predator Captain, respectively for anyone interested)

Nice List keep it up. I have two suggestions 1.) Star Compass instead of a diamond 2.) I would play Aven Wind Guide to get more value out of the tokens.

I don't think untapping Will to tap him again, like with Chakram Retriever, works like you describe, here. It doesn't change how much life you've gained this turn in, and of itself, so if you had gained 5 life, activated Will, then untapped him, and used his ability again, you still had only gained 5 life that turn, unless the spell triggering Retriever happened to be something that gained you life, and thus setting a new number for Will to check upon the second activation.

Even though the amount of life gained has not changed each will activation will in fact stack, further reducing your spells cost. You’re thinking about his ability as a static ability not an activated ability.

It keeps sticking up there. It’s not a set activation. If you gain 5, tap him and then untap him you get a 10 discount. Then 15, 20, etc, not taking into account any other possible life gain
