Sigarda's aid with Nurgle's Rot is an evil combo, especially with constellation cards on the battlefield. I was going to make a Narci saga deck as I broke down Tom Bombadil but now Eriette is calling me pretty strongly as it's unique and fills a niche that I didn't know enchantress needed. Plus, since it doesn't have green, it alleviates some of the new found, and arguably justified, hate enchantress gets because of green turbo draw. I like enchantress but Wizard's definitely needs to add more cards that deal with enchantments as they are the second hardest permanent to destroy before lands. You can't give an archetype consistently huge amounts of love and then not give ways to deal with it. It makes it unfun for the other players.

I feel their is already a fairly large amount of enchatment hate but people do not feel the need to run it. Althought, it would be nice if wizards made more auster command, akroma's vengeace, fairwell and bane of progress effects.

Made a sealed deck with Hylda during pre-release. Love how budget friendly it is and eager to try her out as a commander.

I’m wondering if including Hylda in the 99 of a Derevi deck that’s purely dedicated to tap bullshit wouldn’t be a better way to go? Obviously this video was for the new commanders but I’m asking as a general question. I’m torn between the 2.

That's a pretty neat idea, actualy, but changes the dynamics of the deck significantly. You'd be trading the payoff in the command zone for the enabler, so you'd need a higher amount of payoff cards in the deck, while Hylda needs to focus on enablers. There are a lot of enablers for taping creatures, but I'm unsure of how many payoffs are there

Personally, I prefer Hylda. Green doesn't add that much for the theme. Derevi is extremely powerful, but that doesn't mean it'll enable this strategy well, especially as you'll need most of your opponent's creatures tapped down to enable Derevi as opposed to Derevi enabling the tapping. Hylda doesn't enable tapping but she's an extremely good pay off for it. Plus Opposition is a hell of a drug

These new intros are really cool and I love the new thumbnails but the opening hands could be larger so they're more readable

Ok I watched this doing house chores so maybe I missed it but, did they evwr triggered Eriette's end step ability?

Yes, they triggered it multiple times. There was a missed trigger but it was trigger most times it was available. Sam playing at instant speed did cause him to lose a trigger or two.

I tried to keep track the best i could, but i looked over some auras when scanning the field. I knew the trigger happened, but thought at the time i had no auras, even though i did.
