Yes he has got a contract in Germany with Shaban Music Group(BMG). His CD was released on 1st December in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. His first CD was released 4 years ago and is called "Declan".

omgistylerrieser: It's not illegal for kids to sing "live" on TV or elsewhere in Germany. Declan said in an interview on one of these videos on KZfaq, that " sometimes performers LIKE TO lipsync their songs. It's a choice they all have, so Declan does both, sings live and lip syncs.

The whole production was beautiful, however I think Declan's hand motions are just a bit weak (sort of like his hands are a little lost). Otherwise, he handles his vocals and facial gestures very well. Of all the songs I've heard him sing, this is my favorite.

After listening to this song many many times, during my 'daily Declan', I know that this is indeed lip synching. However, most of his performances are indeed live, as he truly prefers live, and, he is fully capable of live perforance anywhere, anytime. View any of his other television or live performances on youtube and you will come to the same conclusion. Of course, my ears are trained, being a musician myself.
