Declan Rice is really very domineering in midfield. Thomas Partey was majestic for two thirds of last season as well. The only difference between the two is probably age and durability. If Arsenal could have both serving the club concurrently, Arsenal is going to be impeccable in midfield, blessed with depth and quality in this area.

Partey is better receiving on the half term from centrebacks and playing forwards. That's key to how Arsenal build up. Rice is better defensively and also concentrates better from what I've seen. I still think we'll need another midfielder

Both are good players, but personally, I feel partey is more suited to our system. Is ability to recieved on the half turn is what supports our build up from the back, we have suffered to maintain the same system without partey, not so long ago partey was considered our most influential player. Rice is to me a traditional holding midfielder (a stopper) with a wonderful ability to progress play using those runs. Partey to me a more technical player

Trust an English player who literally just plays the ball safe all the time to be valued at over £100m. It's no wonder England never win anything. This isn't a player that's going win games for you, he'll just help you not lose. There's a reason not a single team outside of England was remotely interested in him. The England national side's perpetual failure will continue as long as players like Rice keep being placed on a pedestal, whereas the most technically gifted and creative players are treated with suspicion. The lack of attention around Jude Bellingham in the English media speaks volumes. A player who can do everything Rice can do, but has far superior technical ability and can create and score goals. There's a reason the most successful team in the history of European football have signed him at the age of only 19. He's a true £100m player, whereas Rice is simply an above average defensive midfielder, whose real value is more like £40m. That would be £10m more than Chelsea paid for Ngolo Kante in his prime, who was far superior to Rice and literally the best defensive midfielder in the world at the time. And let's not forget, he was signed from the premier league champions, not a team that flirted with relegation. Its all too ridiculous for me.

What you wrote is all nonsense. Rice plays for westham not Barca...City..Bayern where possession is priority. Westham are always underdogs thus play safe balls the little possession they got. They rely on setpieces. Watch him when he plays for Arsenal.

With all this epistle your wrote they are all nonsense to be honest .......no team outside the premier league and Bayern and man city two of the biggest club currently are in for him....comparing him with Bellingham and his stat is absolutely absurd one is a dm and other a cm one plays in an average team in the premier league consistently for four years without dropping form west player of the season 4times a row.....in the national team no one came close to him in that mild field not even the experienced Henderson or the recently champions league winner kelvin philips...Bellingham is talented no doubt but can he shine in a westham type of team???? Put rice in that durtmund team and know what a talent and hard work is called ......you are probably a chelsea or man city fan who is heartbroken because he chooses arsenal where he would shine more.... every team in England bought close to 100 million price tag player in their team .......wait for next season and compare the star again 👍
