As a Liverpool fan I'm a huge admirer of Rice. He's ability to win contested balls is outstanding. And he wins the ball all over the park. He's exactly the sort of player the Gunners missed last season and Arteta will pay a fortune to get him, and rightly so. Not since Patrick Vieira have the Gunners had someone this dominant.

It makes me sick when people say this guy just “passes sideways” - he is world class. Quick, strong, intelligent, leader, great range of passing, shooting, great dribbler. And of course, best in the world at interceptions.

Declan Rice has the highest number of interceptions of any CDM amongst all the top 5 leagues. However, what separates Rice from Partey is that Rice isn't afraid to put his body on the line, unlike Partey who's too afraid of getting injured.

Yup, Rice definitely seems to be more keen to go for challenges. Anyways if we get him, it's gonna be him and Partey on a double pivot in many occasions. It's gonna be so entertaining to see the sequences of play that we'll be able to execute.

Yes but this time we need to get another RCB as backup so we don’t get punished like this season. We literally lost the title once Saliba AND his backup Tomiyasu both got injured for the rest of the season

He’s at least 6ft 4 (193cm) maybe 6ft 5. He’s taller than our keeper Fabianski who is 6 ft 3. (190cm).
