It’s obvious you both have a great relationship. I rarely see a declutter or cleaning video that doesn’t hold only to the woman cleaning. Sure, the spouse may be asked or bugged about cleaning far later after but I like that yours was incorporated into the video and was rather helpful and forthright about what needs to go. And when he brought up buying 10 more items? You’re a saint! Instead of simply saying “no” or maybe getting upset? You made light of it, made a joke, made it obvious how loving your relationship is. Hi Noemi - I love the idea of your shelves on the bottom of your closet. They sort of act like a dresser and use your space very efficiently. We probably all have trouble getting our husbands to declutter! I keep a large basket in our front hall closet for things to be donated. When I schedule a date for a Charity pick up, I let my husband know and he usually adds a few things on his own because he has a deadline. Your husband is much more cooperative! 😁

I wish I had your patience when it comes to getting my husband to clean out his side of the closet. He doesn't like to let anything go. He saved four pairs of smaller jeans for the last 20 years constantly saying he will keep them in case he ever loses weight. Well, here we are 20 years later and he has lost 40 pounds. So now he's wearing those jeans. LOL Really though, I don't feel that gives him any right to say I told you so!! There's got to be a statute of limitations on old clothes. LOL

My husband still has the sweatshirt he wore when our son was born (tomorrow our son will be 28).My husband refuses to get rid of it. Say's that it is sentimental to him. I have to admit sometimes when he is not around I take things from his closet and get rid of them.
