Decoded | EP 48 | Is NSCN-IM still connected with China?

China, and more importantly, Chinese political events, have always been a source of inspiration for the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN). The outfit aims to establish a ‘Greater Nagaland’ or ‘Nagalim’ which is based on Mao Tse Tung’s ideology. Its manifesto is based on the principle of Socialism for economic development and a spiritual outlook - ‘Nagaland for Christ’. Recently, a statement allegedly issued by the NSCN-IM on the occasion of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) went viral on social media. What surprised many was that the NSCN-IM, in its purported communique, accused India of reneging on the terms of the Framework Agreement, and called on China to be a “third party” in order to break the Naga peace process deadlock. Now, it is still up in the air whether the said statement was actually issued by the NSCN-IM, but we have sources who confirm it probably was, and NSCN has not officially denied it. Which raises, the question: is the NSCN-IM really looking for China's support?

East Pakistan now Bangladesh also helped Nagas alot, during those day when our Naga Freedom Fighters went on alee command to East Pakistan for training they bring back arms and ammunition to fight off the indian armies, missed those days when it was all about fighting for freedom in unity but now times have changed, people are joining Naga Army only for their benefits in the name of Freedom Fighters. It's funny when u get to see a rich Naga Army flaunting their wealth, like forget about salary they hardly get few rations like daal, aloo, rice, mustard oil,sugar so where does the money comes from?😢 And btw talking about ration reminds me of those days when my father used to save up all those rations he recieved from Hebron Camp to sent back home to us once in a month and my mother and us siblings will recieve it with joy because that was one small source of survival out of few, our families lives never changed from the day my father joined the Struggle till today infact it got even worse because the Indian Army will come looking for my dad in our village and will enter our home and ransack our house and most of the time my mother will take us to our grandparents house to hide from Indian army that's how life was back in those days, if one family member joined the Naga Struggle every other family members and relatives will struggle too but now if one joins Naga Army all their khandan will start buying cars and building bungalows😅 i was born a middle class and thats how it is till today but atleast our family can sleep in peace because we know what our father did during his time in service was of righteousness 😊 He's now retired and staying at home with us but he often talks about how sad it is to see todays generation destroying the reputation and dignity of Naga Army and how all their hardwork and fallen comrades lives have all gone in vain😢 But im still proud of my Father's contribution to our Nation's struggle for freedom because i know what he'd done are honest and loyal and i will always respect him for that and strive to carry on his legacy for his patriotic blood runs in me.. Tibet has been modernized and very advanced, And the states I mentioned remains in a traditional agricultural Society. In 2017 Tibet Per gdp income was 5814USD, Plus the central government's transfer payments. Tibet per capita GDP exceeded 13000USD, while India GDP per capita was 1939USD and the states I mentioned 1200USD+ but not 1900USD+ In the whole year of 2015 Chinese central government transfer Moneyhsuodidiyuan (7012USD) In addition province in China assist every city or region in tibet (Counties constitute a Prefecture-level city or a region in China) which Is not included in the central government transfer payments to Tibet . For example. Guangdong counterparts aid Nyinchi ( perfecture-level) city in Tibet . The GDP of Guangdong province(1.89 trillion USD, 2021) is bigger than that of Russia, Equivalent to that 61% of India (3.08 trillion USD) China hunan province and Anhui province counterpart to help Shannan (perfecture-level) city in Tibet. A vast territory of Nyinchi city and Shannan city was occupied by India where India established a puppet state - Pseudo Arunachal pradesh. Is this enough? No projects of the airport, bullet trains, Highway, dams etc .build by the central government in China are often huge. The local government of Tibet do not have to pay a penny, and they are all paid by the chinese central government. What did the Democratic India do Invade Nagalim exploit the resources and make the people deliberately poor! Don't be fooled by Indian Propaganda. If China is a brutal Regime, how can it achieve achievements far more than that of democratic India?

The NSCN (IM) recent letter was mere show up statement so that GoI shouldn't backtrack the Framework Agreement. But seeking Chinese helping hand is not new to all because NNC/NSCN cadres have already got huge quantity of arms and ammunition from China starting in 1966 till today during 7 times Alee Command called Foreign tripe for military training and procurement of weapons. So far Nagas have already toured 12 times to Pakistan and China for procurement of Arms and ammunition.

Not true that NSCN follows Moaist Ideology. They have clearly stated that it is socialism with Naga characteristics. Therefore, the Nagas philosophy of socialism is rooted in Nagas social and economic conditions and not Chinese conditions. Well, for the issue of support from China, it is but natural for the group to seek support from any external forces when India willfully betrays the Nagas, and China is not an exception.

Politic contain develish thought to distroy each other by dividing and make it as international boundary even if the ruler know very well of the people not connected to each other and when the native people fight for their independence or seeking help from foreign countries they accuse third country and term it as illegal criminal, terrorise organisations etc but in actuality they are the one whom they refers to themself. This is relavant between India and Nagas till today. India should not accuse British for it weak economy or any accusation during British rule in India if they don't admit Nagas are wrongly added to India by British and leave the Nagas.

Nagaland is a buffer for India and Nagaland will become a satellite state for China if it's independent also Nagas are distrustful of India like when they retreated NE to fend 4 themselves during the Indo China War. Nagas doesn't trust China either. Heck Nagas doesn't even trust Nagas themselves. Naga Sovereignty will only be possible n peaceful when Asia become developed like Europe n Indo-China issue is a thing of the past like the Anglo-French or the German-French Wars r now a thing of the past.
