After viewing and commenting, I found a beautiful tall blue slim vase in a spare bedroom, added an ikea eucalyptus stem which was in my storage, and put them on my bedroom dresser on top of a few books from my home office and voila, the perfect decor. Thanks for the inspiration.

A Helpful Hint! We bought several sizes of Furniture Sliders & put them under our Heavier pieces of Furniture! That way when we get ready to Clean or Rearrange Furniture we're not Struggling with Moving them! This is especially helpful on Hardwood Floors, bc Heavier pieces could scratch the floors when scooting them around! 🤔💡 Love your Videos!

I cut out the months of a pretty calendar and framed it for wall art in my first apartment, but wrapping paper is genius!

Definitely do NOT underestimate Facebook market place! I gave away a completely perfect 3 piece navy blue LEATHER couch set for FREE bc I needed it gone before my new stuff arrived.. I've gotten everything from expensive armoire closets to simple storage bins.. and if your willing to do a little (paint or recover items) a little will go a long way... Some beat up dining chairs then spray painted and few yards of material will amaze you.

I'm a big fan of unsplash. I change all my photos on the shelf above my sofa every season. I learned that if you're getting them printed in a store, not all stores are created equal. Walmart does a great job!

I got two end tables and a bathroom storage cabinet for free! My dining room table and 6 chairs were $40. My corner cabinet was $20!I found my tv stand on the side of the road! It just needed to have the legs tightened! I love getting bargins for house decor! Thanks for the inspiration to change up our decor for free!

I rearrange my rooms for summer and winter every year🐨🦘🇦🇺

One I did for my mom’s house was to paint a dried cleaned branch black, hook it to the wall in the hallway and one on the landing and then buy black card and cut them into butterfly shapes of different sizes and then tack them to the wall running up the stairs from one branch to the other.

LOVE the framed wrapping papper idea, I've been needing something extra to add to my walls without being too much. I'm also trying it out with an old skirt i like that doesn't fit. Frame it when it no longer frames me! 😂

Definitely the mirror on the dresser. I'll rehang it in the dressing room then use the oval mirror from there to hang over the dresser. 2 fixes for one problem.

Never heard or thought about flipping the hardware around. Good idea! Also, a good trick to help with the "shop your own home tip": taking pictures of items or furniture can help to take a step back and see what you have in a new light. Also works with clothes purging!

I just spray painted 10 door knob sets satin nickel (they were brass and icky) and it only cost $7! Lol. That’s a lot cheaper than replacing them! And they look lovely. ☺️ I did that wrapping paper in a picture frame for Christmas last year. I already had the paper and paid $5 for frames at Dollar tree. Gift bags are good for this too. I also enjoy using nature to decorate! It’s completely free…love that idea!! Your videos are amazing! Ty

Not free, but cheap, like you mentioned: I bought a digital painting from Etsy for $5.99 and had it printed on canvas at WalMart. It looks great until I find something more meaningful to hang there (or I may keep it!). Thanks for sharing your tips. Your channel is one of my favorites!

I've been a "home shopper" for decades. The 3 colors I use in my house are tans/browns, blue and green. If I want to switch something up I just go shopping in another room. Everything I have can work well in any space.

I love to use my cowers and greenery.

In the US you can join a Buy Nothing group or local Freecycle. Craigslist also has a freebies section. Framing wrapping paper is nice and can also be used as a background for something else like a cut out initial or a shell. I've made a shadow box out of an old frame and cardboard from a cereal box. Old paint can also be mixed together to get new colors and more paint to work with. I've also painted matting to freshen it up or coordinate with the art in the frame or just the colors of the room. Made pillow covers and cafe curtains out of a dress I could no longer wear.

If you find a beautiful wallpaper but it’s really expensive you can buy a small amount and frame it. Also wallpaper sample books that have been retired are amazing fir art!!!

Not free but you can get awesome wall art at thrift stores. Buy nothing groups are awesome if you really don't wanna spend any money though. People give a lot away on those groups. 😊

You've given some great ideas for framed art. I have a narrow space that needs something to complement something else in the room. Either unsplash or wrapping paper should do the trick.

I liked the idea of detaching the mirror from the dresser. I It is truly outdated and needs to go elsewhere.. More room for wall art too! Changing the drawer pulls, by painting. and I especially like turning them upside down. Love it too!

I thought the twig in a vase idea was great. As someone with mild hayfever and also someone who has never seen the appeal of watching flowers wilt in a vase, I think a twig in a vase has an aesthetic all its own and perhaps even a symbolic meaning that is quite interesting.
