Amazing that materials were only about $250 (if you have the tools), but the real cost here is definitely the knowledge! Wiring, working with the supports for the wall, and most importantly, the design alone is art... transforming a bedroom completely with essentially just being creative with a couple planks of wood and some painting, amazing!

I loved watching this video! It was super inspirational and gave me some ideas of what to do in my bedroom. The black accent wall really made a big impact in such a small room without making it look too dark. I also think that hanging the curtains higher was a good choice. It makes the room feel bigger. The bedding that your sister did for you looks phenomenal. It really tied the room together and gave it a sense of sophistication.

Wow! This guy is skilled, I wouldn’t touch popcorn ceilings because I KNOW that most likely what’s behind it is a nasty surprise, but he knew how to fix that & had the energy to do it, my arms would just fall off! The look is modern, airy & Scandi cool....(got a good chuckle from “I’m hanging my curtains higher than before because that’s what the cool kids are doing”....hanging them higher gives the room the appearance that the ceilings are higher than they really are & I love the jab at the high end designers who always preach that about hanging curtains/drapes....LOL! NICE JOB!

Liam, I just found your channel today (Sept. 29, 2023), and have been binge watching your videos. Since this was the first video you put out I thought I would make my first comment here. The ONE thing I would change in that bedroom, which would add that symmetry you wanted, would be to make a matching frame for the mirror to match the frame on the other side of the floating shelves. Other wise... You have a new subscriber, one that is very impressed. I haven't done what you're doing, but I did lay floors for about 10 years. Your attention to detail is what separates a worker from a CRAFTSMAN. I know. The man I worked for those 10 years was a craftsman. He passed (F*** CANCER) and I miss him almost as much as I miss my father. Keep going like this and you will have a thriving business AND KZfaq channel. Very well done! Hey looks awesome good job. I love doing projects like this. This reminded me when I re did my room when I was a teenager and build my own headboard and that's when I got hooked on making stuff. Still learning a lot by trail and error but that's how you start.

those bedside floating tables are genius, my room is probably around the same size as yours if not a smidge smaller and my remodel with everything I have "planned out" is around $1200 and im looking to cut costs wherever. Reason I say "planned out" is because I just made a list of everything I want so far and the vision hasnt left my head yet, so im just going to wing it 😂

Honestly, I'm unsure if investing is a wise move right now. Take note of how frequently things fail. As I still have some time before I retire, I'm still looking for a better strategy to invest my money despite reading charts and predictions from well-known investors from the past and present. In order to generate passive income, I want to build a solid and reliable portfolio.
