Hi Monica! I used to decorate for every season and holiday. But now I do white for winter, blue and white for Spring and Summer, Fall and Christmas are traditional colors. I'm 50 years old lol I don't have the energy for more than that😅❤

We’re in the middle of the rainy season in SoCal, and it’s cold, so I’m still into winter decor, but I’m definitely looking forward to spring. Green is my favorite color and I like decorating with a lot of green. 💚 I appreciate that you stick to the style of decor you love, so many other channels are getting rid of their beautiful hutches and other nice pieces of furniture because it’s too ‘farmhouse.’ Some pieces of furniture are timeless and fit into any decor style.

*Muted Palette* . Early Spring styling can be challenging. It's too early for an abundance of florals but I feel ready for a lighter palette. I added in Lambs Ear green in combination with taupe brown and a whisper of lavender. I swapped out art for a mirror and brought in some cut glass pitchers and bowls. I'm so ready for daylight and a softer/lighter palette while still staying seasonally appropriate to Upstate NY. A little bit of bird decor feels appropriate as a positive reminder that Spring is on it's way.

Yes! Thank you! I have used all types of brands, but I do make sure the finish is satin and it has a primer in one. The color I choose is always a basic white. You can tone it down a shade of bright white is too much for you. Antique white is a good color choice as well. I hope this helps🤗

I do blues in January because I decorate for Valentine's Day with red in February and my second to youngest granddaughter also loves St Patrick's Day so march is green and this year so is Easter , so that's going to be interesting 😂. Because they love all the bunny stuff too

Not everyone can “think of something” on their own. I consider myself blessed that I have an eye for colors and coordinating styles, but I still love watching videos. You never know when you will get inspired to try something outside your thinking box. If I find I’m not interested in someone’s video, I just move on.
