Or even like 3 candles in bottom curve of wreath maybe with the middle one being slightly taller. That way it doesn’t take away from lights of the tree but still has a glow about it ❤️

I agree! I think the garland and wreaths are stunning, but I’m afraid at night it will fade into the black wall. I think they need some type of lighting.

2023 Christmas, will be another epic year at the HOV. Try moving the tree near the window by the sofa; this could balance out the drama throughout the room. This will also allow the eyes to capture a full affect of your picturesque space. V and Jack, everything you do is with excellence! PERFECTION! 😍 Even though you said nothing is perfect! 😂 You have inspired me to keep my husbands 82 in. wreath that I swore I would never display again. This is will be my 2nd Christmas without my husband and things are forever changed. This just may be something I can do. I know he would love it! Your fireplace and mantle, are gorgeous! My vote is for the tree to maybe go by the window so that focus in on the large wreath and greenery across the mantle either way…gorgeous! 😍🎄

❤ This is by farrrrrrrr the best display of garland I've ever seen. Especially this year. Every vlog I'm seeing the youtubers are getting the exact same picks and garland & same xmas mugs, cushions, small trees, village houses and golden bells. Decor is spot on!! Love your wreath and mantel. I think it will be massive enough to stand alone. If you move the tree for it to have it's own special spot it will stand out more. Such a pretty tree!! Thank you for the share and the discount code.

The mantel and wreath greenery are absolutely beautiful. Wow!! Since you are asking for votes, I humbly vote to move the tree so as not to compete with the mantle display. What about the tree centered in front of your picture window and position your 2nd sofa into an L shape with the other to face the fireplace? Whatever you do I'm sure will be magnificent. You are an inspiration to the masses, especially this time of year. God Bless!!

Looks nice. I would like to suggest using flocked greens against a black wall. It could just be the lighting, but it all seems pretty dark. I’m sure lights at night make it pretty. I would have kept the mirror instead of the wreath;). Thanks for the ideas!

I love your work so much. I never feel confortable leaving an opinion with someone who is a professional designer. However, since you asked, I vote for moving the tree. You said you were trying to make the wreath reflect the feel of the mantel. I would also try to add/move some of the lighter (I think you said 4 Berry picks) floral to the wreath or remove them from the mantel. Since you just started decorating that area you may have some other way to bring the light floral into cohesion so please take my opinion with a grain of salt. Thank you so much for sharing your process, I truly do love your work.

I think if you keep the tree next to the fireplace, you should add some of the white hanging florals into the tree to tie it all together. Then, lower the wreath, and center it over a mirror. Then add candles to reflect the light. You did an amazing job ❤

Thank you, I needed this! We lost our home, and everything we owned to a house fire last fall. We are in the process of rebuilding, I am praying to be in before Christmas. Love the overall lushness of the garlands and the wreath. If I may suggest to add some blueberries white stems to the wreath will make it pop like the garlands do. Moving the Christmas tree away will be a good idea as it is competeting a bit with your magnificient fireplace decor.

I agree with another comment that said add fairy lights to wreath, that "stunning" wreath that is!...so pretty! It needs to shout though "Look at me"...and with it being dark and on a dark wall, it sort of sinks into it and with lights would draw attention. The garland on mantle I would raise the white flowers up closer to the rest of the draping so that it blends more...instead of complimenting it, it sort of distracts from the rest above on the mantle. The mantle grouping is fabulous though...just gorgeous and my reason for saying to either remove or raise up the white pieces. I would also add fairy lights to that as well. As a fellow designer, I tend to look at things differently than some do...hope this was received in love and helpful as it's sent to you. You guys are so much fun to watch and enjoy your beautiful home and all the things you do together! Merry Christmas!

Team move the tree. The scale of the mantle and wreath makes the tree look tiny with it that close together. Plus, the mantle does need its moment. I am so used to looking at the tree next to our fireplace that I keep the mantle simple.
