Hi Gabie, just a small suggestion, please make sure to secure your baby room mirror to the wall and also to secure all your cabinets to the wall using hooks or nails drilled into the wall. Once baby starts being able to crawl, all these become major hazards that shave 10 years off your life each time your toddler tries to unalive themselves by rock climbing the cabinets 😵

The tears in my eyes when I hear Gabie and Josh refer to themselves as "mom/umma" and "dad/appa" when figuratively speaking to baby carrot. And I absolutely adore how even still to this day that Josh continues to give such positive comments to Gabie, from her cooking to her ongoing efforts. Its been a treat just watching your journey after all these years. Baby carrot is going to be so fortunate to grow up with such a close family and in such a loving environment. 😭 And I understand Josh is stressed about the channels while he has to be away for the baby, but honestly we'd understand if there needs to be a break/backlog time. Thinking about it, I still don't know how Ollie continued to work on the channel when Juno was born... Also, I'm so excited to hear that Gabie's fam and Kwangho/Sid are visiting them for a bit, its been so long!

너무 센스있게 아가방을 꾸미는 모습이 보기 좋아요. 제가 아이둘을 키워본 엄마 경험에서 조금 말씀드리고 싶은건요. 애 침대 주위에 뭔가가 떨어 질수도 있거나 아이가 손이 닿아서 떨어질수도 있는 거( 예를들어 액자 선반 ) 는 좀 피하시는게 어떠실지.. 소중한 당근이가 다칠수 있는 0.001프로의 확률도 없었으면 해서요. 아이는 호기심이 왕성해서 손에 닿지 않을 것조차도 만지고 싶어서 아둥바둥 할때가 많아서 버둥대다가 다치기도 하고 그래서요. 당근이가 이쁘고 포근 포근하기만한 세상에 살길 바라는 아줌마팬이 써봐요. 😅

We had a cot-bed for my daughter. She used it until she was about 4 years old. Her room was decorated witht the Peter Rabbit theme. We bought her a set of small books with the entire Beatrice Potter stories which she a adored. Her favorite was Mrs. Tiggy Winkle. Your nursery is beautiful.

Y’all need to learn about the world of JellyCats! They make the softest plushies! You can even get food ones and they have a carrot one. They also have a bowl of ramen and a sushi roll. They have traditional ones too and I bought a grandson a dragon and then I bought a niece a bunny with her name on the inside of the bunny’s ear. I also have a new granddaughter that will be here in September and I bought her a bunny soother, you know, soothers have a little animal on top and then a bit of material around it that the baby holds onto. Her name is on the material part. I bought her older sister a unicorn wearing a backpack last year. I know over there in the UK a lot of shops sell them but if you want one personalized you need to order it online.

We had a crib in our bed room and a cot bed in the nursery (advised in the UK to keep baby’s in your room at least till 6ths). Ours slept in the same room with us at night in the crib and had naps in the nursery cot bed in the day (we had a baby monitor). Until one night (probably when he was 5-6 month old) when he wouldn’t go down to sleep in his crib in the same room at night time - he cried/kicked his legs about- you name it. We tried everything until in a moment of inspiration I put him in his room in his cot bed - he smiled and went to sleep! They will know what they are comfortable with and what comforts them and they are all different - mine liked space and hated being swaddled. You just have to try and figure it out as you go along. The health visitor wasn’t especially happy but she wasn’t going to be there to sing him to sleep!

In less than 2 weeks I’ll be traveling to Seoul with my husband for our last big trip together. I’ll be 25/26 weeks pregnant. I enjoy building furniture too. At 7-8 months pregnant I built the dresser, crib, twin bed frame and stroller on my own lol. I just enjoyed it so much I did it super slowly and took breaks. Felt like a great accomplishment preparing everything for my little dumpling. She is almost three months old, there are rough days but I enjoy the smile my little dumpling exhibit each day. 걱정이 돼서 글을 남겨도 되나 하고 들어왔는데 벌써 많은 엄마분들이 많이 써 놓아서 엄마들 눈엔 다 비슷하게 보이나 했어요~! 애기 침대 주위로는 액자, 선반, 큰 인형등은 피하는게 좋을거 같아요^^ 선반에서 물건이 떨어질 수도 있고 잘 고정이 되어 있다고 하더라도 혹시 모를 사고를 예방하는게.. 아이낳고서는 너무 정신이 없거든요 ㅜ 아마 아이가 배밀이 하고 방에서 노는 시간이 늘어나고 그러면 거울이나 아이가 잡고 서다가 혹은 올라가다가 넘어갈 수 있는 가구나 물건들은 미리 고정시켜 놓으시면 사고를 예방할 수 있을거 같아요^^ 저도 키우다가 알게 된거라서 아마 키우다가 다 알게 되실건데 못 지나치고…남기고 갑니다
