I have exactly one of these 🙂 My top niches for life: Naxos, Jubilation 40, Absolu Aventus, Nio, Vertus Vanilla Oud, Elysium Parfum Pour Homme, and Oajan. Only have seven that are for life....though I am 54 and have 50+ full bottles, so chances are EVERY frag in my collection is for life 🙂

I'd love to try the gris chanel extrait, sounds really promising. Nishane Fan your flames is also great, I love it. Some other of my favorites are MFK Oud Satin Mood (extrait!), Acqua di parma Oud, Byredo Bal d'afrique, Xerjoff Uden, Initio Side effect / rehab.

Vanilla Oud has this strange wet cement note, but on my second wearing I couldn’t stop smelling it and the dry down is stellar lol. Gris Charnel Extrait and Amouage Enclave are two fragrances that I blind bought and like just fine, but women absolutely go nuts over. The sillage is excellent in a light spring wind, particularly nights out. Must be the cardamom. Nice list! I enjoy your very real take on fragrances.

Definitely love the list! I totally get down with PDM Pegasus exclusive and bdk gris charnel Extrait. Really, all of them. Have you tried any from Aaron Terrence Hughes yet? His work falls in line with a lot of those fragrances.

At this point is it worth getting aventus? Or getting a clone? I have a sample from decantx and no lie, it stays on my skin for 1.5 hrs. Projection is really bad.

So I understand the question.. And my real thoughts are to go with what stifles you.. there are many GREAT clones out there that will make you drop the idea of owning a bottle of aventus.. but there’s always something special about the original creation.
