Did a bit of research, cause I was curious. A "voirloup" (litteral translation a "seewolf") is a shapeshifter that is an evil human possessed by a demon. It can shapeshift in multiple different animals including a wolf, but it is not a werewolf.

Be very interesting if they input some additional factions that work against each other. The French resistance was not very United and fought amongst each other pretty often as well. Communist and local fascist both had sway in the “resistance.”

The 3 different factions do kinda represent that, you do have to balance them out, but I do see what you mean by having them infight, it's not really present. Then again, there is campfire banter between members of your little party that does allude to it, and your squad's primary goal is still to shank Nazis and make sure the other groups shank nazi's too, rather than each other. You are not playing as the Resistance, after all, but rather as a squad of 'Jedburghs', special forces from the OSE and OSS whose primary goal was to organize and supply the French Resistance by doing commando shit for them and communicating with London about where to drop suplies. They were really popular with most resistant groups because of that. Also at this point, most groups were considering the rivalries of secondary nature over the primary one, killing nazi's. In short, even if the resistance groups started to shoot each other, which in 1944 was not that common anymore, your squads can't do much against that. They can only lead by example and do stuff like killing officers, blowing up supplies, and protecting supplies which had been captured by other resistance members.

Although I will say the chances of us diving into a good bush is increased with the amount of……maintenance the bush has received. I mean, you don’t want to dive into a bush…..for protection, only to get poked in the eye 🤷🏻‍♂️

One thing I absolutely love about Chaos Gate: Demon Hunter. The death system and the two hit system. You know no one can miss (your Space Marines your dog miss) but things can reduce your damage. If someone goes to zero health they get their health cut they're out of action for a while you need to heal them. And when people are injured they can get cybernetics for cool abilities and you can use the corpses for more power. Plus the resilience mechanic.

This game looks cool. I wanted to come in and say that there are other turn based WW2 in the “xcom” style games and my favorite one was in a weird but decent anime style with werewolves and vampires… don’t remember the name, it was pretty cool though. At some point you stopped nazi’s from launching a nuke… pretty sure there were robots or power armor too…

I am a big fan of the morale system, it makes the frustration factor of XCOM so much less aggravating by making sure that even if shots miss, it is not entirely wasted, and also helps with flushing out enemies out of cover. It also adds a challenge to your own troops and makes officers so much more interesting. Same goes for allowing your guns to hit multiple enemies, it's extremely funny to miss your intended target only to absolutely dumpster all over the guy hiding behind him. The graphics are very meh, and I do miss some of the variety of XCOM enemies, but this is still an excellent game that is pretty much half the price of XCOM, so would definitely recommend.

How's the "historical accuracy" in this game - do you fight your way through real WW2- or just fictional places and is there some actual nazi-flags and SS symbols to see here, like in the uncensored versions of the Wolfenstein games or did the developers take the all-censored route in Classified '44??

The fact that, in an ipotetical future were elves join this world and nazis try to conquer the europe once more, zerk would join the nazis is quite scary 💀

I always find it funny when games try to depict the resistance as a unified block considering what really happened, glad to see they split them up into factions But man these graphics and animations look rough, silent storm is from 2003 and i dont see a lot of difference especially on the trees

Yeah, graphically it's not that good, but I'll take good gameplay over graphics any day, especially from a non-AAA studio. What matters to me most is the authenticity and gameplay, and those parts are pretty much nailed. Also I do think the voice acting is pretty decent.

@@CommanderTavos99 I have, quite well actually. Believe me when I say that the Allies have got plenty of cool things of their own. But if you are interested in Axis stuff, there are plenty of games for that too
