Hey party people! thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share this new clean with me video!! Woop!! I feel like it's been a few months since I did a proper clean with me style of video where there is no music, just the sweet sweet sound of my voice. haaaaah. I just chit chat the whole time podcast style just talking about normal every day mom life! My mom had 10 kids and I don’t ever remember seeing her cleaning. She would go somewhere every Saturday morning and just before she left she would yell “I’ll be back at noon and when I get back this place had better SHINE!” Of course we’d wake up 15 minutes before noon and start cleaning quickly.

I was not the tanning bed person. But when I was in high school in the 70’s, we didn’t know about skin cancer, and we would add iodine to a bottle of baby oil, slather up, and lay on these silver “blankets”, to attract the sun to our pasty white bodies. I would also douse my hair with Sun In, or lemon juice, in order to lighten my already light blonde hair. While wearing a crochet string bikini, listening to Casey Kasem’s top 40’s. Good times!!

Kim I have towels from when I got married. Back in 87 and they are still good to use. I even have towels from the 70's that my mother was gonna bet rid of because they were faded, I use them to dry my hair which is good enough for me. I am not ( and will never be) that women across the room kind of gal, and ya know it's freeing not trying so hard for what? I have no one to impress at my age (60) like me, love me, I'm " A" OK with that,LOL! Your house is lovely, if it is messy it just shows you live there, people see how happy and healthy your children are and that you Love life and that's what is important. When I go see friends and family they always say " I'm sorry about the mess " and I say " I didn't come here to see your house I came here to see "You". Life is too sort, and people will remember you for the Wonderful person you were Not by she was the messiest house keeper. I still think it is such a shame Kate Spade isn't around to enjoy seeing people enjoying her products. Happy day everyone. Been married 30 years this November and we still have towels in rotation that we were given as gifts. They are starting to get a little thin now so soon will be delegated to cleaning cloths. 🌸🐨🌸

Tip. Layer your perfume with your lotion. Put the lotion on first then perfume. Helps scent stick better to the skin and last

Hi Kim and family. Greetings and best wishes from Western Australia. Really enjoy your videos. May I suggest that you put a large towel over the fabric chair which seats a child. It’s easier to wash the towel. Kind regards and cheers

i use Scotchguard to protect chairs seats. But also towels when my grandsons visit and eat at table. They are adorable but can’t sit still while eating and constantly stand up!

I replace my towels every few years. We have a dog rescue near us that loves to get used towels and blankets to use in the kennels. Makes it easy to get rid of them since i know they will be used.

👵💜 my mothers idea of cleaning was pile everything behind the door. My mother in law grabbed the dust before it landed. I had to learn to clean fast before my mother in law visited with her white gloves. I am still learning at age 80.

You made my day, again🧡 The reason that you have to trow away the dirty water in the toilet, is because those pipes are wider. Hair or other 'stuff' can get stuck in the pipes of your sink 🤓

Over the years I have replaced all my towels with white ones. I wash them separately with detergent, bleach, and Lysol sanitizing cleaner.

Today is the perfect day to tell you about my Laundry "discovery"! After a few month of hesitation and not trusting the Hype... I have bought and tried the Pink Stuff Stain Remover Oxi Powder... And Oh my God! It's like Bleach for coloured fabrics! It's a Revolution! What?! I will use it until the day I die! My bright Yellow sheets were stained with coffee, very old coffee stains and it's all gone! Magic. Believe the Hype it's Amazing!

My mother’s dear friend was a no nonsense kind of lady. She taught in elementary school, directed VBS in church (with a loud whistle), and was the Sunday School secretary. She told me that she didn’t clean BEFORE guests, but after they left. She lived to be 103!

I’m sat on my sofa watching you . I feel worn out just seeing you clean. My children are now adults with children of their own. We are English but live in Spain, so in the summer months it’s really hot and we have lots of family and friend visiting us. We love the time we all spend together, but the cleaning never ends. Trying to keep on top of it with the battle of the heat can be a nightmare. Fortunately everyone who stays have a good time and there are so many months that are quieter, so we make the most of the joy they bring with them. You are just an amazing mom and your kids are living a great life. Love to you all. Xxx 😘

*Funny story alert* My husband told me he had a dream that I had met a guy named Carlos , few months later we are in Cape Coral FL visiting some friends and I was dancing while my husband went to get drinks for us . Aman came up to my friend and I and asked if he could dance with us ,cus he just wanted to dance . When my husband came back we asked the man what his name was ... he said" My name is Carlos , your wife and her friend were nice enough to dance with me." 😂

Keep the beautiful upholstered dining chairs … just unscrew the seat from the frame and cover the area with clear plastic. Screw the seat back into the chair frame. Now you can easily wipe any spills off and still see the upholstery. Worked amazingly well while the kids were small 👌🏻

I have starting use a soft bristle broom for cleaning my bathrooms and it’s been a game changer. For cleaning the shower, the tiles, the walls and the floors. Bit of dishwashing liquid and disinfectant in a bucket and scrub the whole bathroom with the broom, the job is done in no time.

Use a beach towel to cover the seat of the dining room chair, and safety pins underneath the seat to secure the towel. Also Dawn is great to use on carpet or upholstery. I loved seeing Wolfgang moping lol! ❤

Same Kim, same! Growing up we had a stay at home mom that kept our home cleaned and we hardly ever if ever cleaned because she had “ her way” she did things so we never learned how to clean. Fast forward to today the cleaning is on me and I struggle…😂

I replace towels about every 2 years and donate to the animal shelter. There is nothing like a plush soft towel. I stock up at Costco when they are on sale for $5

I also have white towels and they were pretty good quality towels. I’ve had them there’s nothing wrong with them, but they do get dingy so I bleach them in my washer, and they come back nice and white.

Try using vinegar with the Towels when you wash them. Put it into the fabric softener dispenser. Your clothes won’t smell of vinegar. It just make them fluffy and gets all the built up grime out of them. I put maybe a 1/4 cup with a full load. Put your regular detergent in also. I learned this from another influencer and tried it. I was amazed. I’ve never went back to regular fabric softener!
